What do you like about your home town/city?

My hometown is very small, about 1,900 people. Nothing ever happens in the tiny little town except for The Corn Festival that happens every August.

I don't care for the town very much, so I'm happy I live out in the country.

Seattle has a decent amount of stuff to do, and major conventions are held here every year (wether it be everfree NW, PAX west or others) while still maintaining that quiet contentness of the Pacific Northwest. Out side of the city the amount of hipsters and coffee worshipers drops quickly, leaving a people that are both strong of will, and rather happy with their lives. The city also has many national forests around it, providing a lot to do in the physical activity area.

It would be perfect if we could get those social liberators out of town, the $15-$20 an hour minimum wage is going to kill business here.

My home town is Philly and I don't live there anymore for a reason. I enjoy my current city because of the basics. Low crime, lower taxes and cost of living, good schools for the kids, and Orlando is only about a 75 minute drive.

It's boring compared to Philadelphia, but that is why they invented planes.

The city I was born in is by a bay but have become very modern and more cool through the years, I visit it once in a while. :) But I'm also content living where I am now because of friends, family and the city here is okay. Some might say some of us thinks that our city is the capital or there's nothing beyond that, but it's okay here.

My town is quiet, yet it is very "cliquey" which is pretty unfortunate.   However, I am in the suburban area to New York as well as being right next to MetLife Stadium, :).

I like how it has a lot of neat, old buildings. Sadly, this is becoming less so as old buildings are torn down in favor of new ones. The bad thing is, the new buildings are built colonial style and look really out of place in my midwestern town.

I don't have anything; my town is pretty boring. It has all the usual stuff, but nothing too exciting, although there's not much about my town that I dislike. I'm not a big fan of huge cities, so if I had to say one thing then it would be that where I live is usually nice and quiet.

In the town I live in currently, there is very little crime, we are BLASTED with sunshine (though that's the Southwestern United States in general), there are very nice mountains to the East, there is a charming downtown done in Old West style, it's got a prosperous middle class...a bit sleepy and unexciting, but not too much to complain about other than that.

I'm not very fond of the area around where I live, it's a small town, and there's plenty of close-minded people around here.

However, I do enjoy the fact that, it being a small town, there are plenty of people who know each other. Also, summer time is very nice in this area.

Honestly? Absolutely nothing! This place is so boring! There is nothing going on, no concerts, gigs, conventions. very little to no friends here, but moving to New Zealand, so much better!

The population is about 1000 in the village and I live outside of that. It's quiet, friendly, and it's easy to get to know people. The big events are the annual fair, and a few mini-concerts in the agriculture hall or the arena. I dislike cities so I'm happy where I am.

Well I'm in a valley right next to Los Angeles.  So all of their pollution gets trapped here by the mountains.  We have the #1 worst air in all of the country because of that.  Almost everyone who lives here gets some kind of asthma or other breathing problem.  We have poisonous dirt that gets people sick if you breathe in the dust called Valley Fever.  It almost never rains because this is practically a desert, so there is ALWAYS dust flying around.  It's in the hundreds almost the entire summer and a good part of the spring, it's in the hundreds already this week.  It's boring here.  There's nothing to do, so everyone just does drugs or has babies.  I think we're the meth capital of the country too, or we were last I checked.  It's a pretty terrible place that people move to when the rest of California gets too expensive for them to live in.  The only good thing is we have some really cool native animals like rubber boas and kit foxes.  And there's some colonies of parrots that escaped a long time ago from a house and now they're living wild here.  And there's strays everywhere, and I like animals, so they're fun to play with if they don't end up attacking you.

We actually are the city that that video happened in of the cat saving the little boy from the dog attack.

One of my cousins lives in the San Fernando valley and has asthma. Bad move! Some days he can't even leave the house!
