I was just thinking about what rainbow rocks would be for kind of movie?

 

So i think there is going to be a villain (i do not know how)

And i think Sunset will make a appearance.

 

What do you guys think?

For sure not my thing at all since I have never been one for high school stuff and most of all girly yet I don't think the writing ill be too sloppy at all the first one may not of been my thing but at least not sloppy I have nothing wrong with it and I will be grad to sit a watch for a hour and I will still take it in as part of mlp fim I may not like it but as much people who won't is the same as people who do so I am cool with it I don't know if I will like the movie or not but I will not hate by the shorts it is not TOO bad just not my thing...

I'm actually pretty excited. I liked the first Equestria Girls movie and been enjoying the online shorts, and am interested to hear those 12 songs!

I like the shorts ideas they're using as build-up. More consistent content to look forward to until the movie, lessens the blow of human ponies so that when the movie arrives, people are more used to seeing them in action, and helps them grow on the people who are willing to enjoy the world of EqG x) As far as the movie goes, looks like it has potential to be pretty good. Though, if Discord doesn't show up as a disgruntled physics teacher or creepy night-shift janitor, I'll be disappointed.

Well, I know a lot of people aren't expecting a lot from the movie, but I am actually looking forward to it. I mean after all we don't get more actuale MLP until somtime around 2015, so it will be nice to have something between time to kind off keep my appetite for new MLP content down a bit. Also it sort of looks like maybe Rainbow Dash will be somewhat more of the main focus in this movie (Though Twilight will more than likely play a large part as well). and it appears from what I have seen that

will probably have a fairly large role as the "villan" in this movie, though weather or not she will be the final villian, or how "bad" she will actually be in this movie we do not really know. But in any case we can still expect her to be a huge egomaniactric jerk as always.

 

So yea, I really am looking forward to this, also, will there be ponies in the movie or will it focus only on the human world, hm?

I'm excited for Rainbow Rocks, I own Equestria Girls on DVD and love it, the sequel looks just as good. I probably will wait till its either online or on DVD though because Equestria Girls wasn't shown at any theaters near me when it came out, so the whole limited release is sort of a pain.

Just to say i cant wait for the movie!!! But doesn't this mean that twilights has to go back to that portal mirror in the castle to go back to the human world. And doesn't have twilights the problem with the moon then that if she's to late with getting back she's trapper in the human world for 30 moons. And in the first movie she had a goal to get her crown back, so whats the reason to get back there this time?

 

I think this bring up a lot of toughts, im sorry if it sounds rude but It are just questions.

I predict a rival band. To be honest, that's what i've been afraid of this whole time, and that is the lack of plot. I'm don't know if there's going to be a villain, and frankly, it doesn't look like it. Makes me not want to watch it, but I won't know until I do. ^^'

Will she be nice in this movie. Cuz in the first movie she whas left behind in the human world and got a second change to make friends instead of being evil.

First- I hope that it won't be as bad as the first movie... Not saying that the first movie was thta bad but it had its flaws.

Second- I'm interested in how the music will tie in to the human versions becoming half ponies...

Third- In the First short we see That twilight is the lead singer in the band. I'm interested in how she actually gets there in the first place... or if thats the human version.

 

Otherwise Im excited for when it comes out

I'm going to give it a chance because I liked Equestria Girls. I enjoy almost every episode from MLP. I enjoyed Equestria girls and im sure ill enjoy rainbow rocks.

After EqG was released and I found it to be much more enjoyable than I figured it would be, I got super excited about this sequel. Sure, it's cliche, but judging by their exclusive shorts so far, I think it'll be, as Tara Strong has said, "adorable".

 

I haven't seen any sign of Sunset Shimmer, so I'm assuming she might be on the other band's side. After her redemption at the end of the first movie, I can only hope that she was sincere in her apologies. Perhaps she was forced to be on the other side and is torn between winning and being true to her new friends. Who can tell?

While I'm not anxiously waiting for the sequel, I am at least curious. I kinda liked the first EG movie and I have hope they can at least improve on what they did with the first. I like the idea of a battle of bands, so I am curious as to how they will pull it off.

 

Considering that "Music to my Ears" was essentially a big shoutout to the bronies, I at least want to give it a chance so as not to be unfair to the staff.

Why is Twilight in the sequel?  Human Twilight doesn't know anything about what happened, and I doubt she'd believe it if the other 5 told her.  I think Sunset Shimmer would do good to replace Twilight in the human group.  I guess it'll be interesting to see how that all works out.  I bet they won't even explain it though.

Ehhhhh, I don't have many high hopes. There was stuff to enjoy about the first one, but it just fell too far into the US high school teenage drama formula, filled with cliches that just did not mix well with mlp's characters, and this new one seems to be even more of that. I'm sorry, but I just find it cringeworthy to watch the promo clips where they all suddenly become master musicians and turn into pony hybrids through the power of rock and roll. It's just.....ehhhh.....
 

If people are excited for it, then I have no problem with that, and despite what I say, I am probably going to watch it regardless, but like I said, my expectations aren't very high at all.
