About Tich

I've been around the internet block for a while, joining a variety of communities here and there. Some shameful, some alright. Which might explain me a little better.

I am a huge science fiction and video games fan. Well I say fan, more like enthusiast. But I digress. I ENJOY THE GAMES. It would probably explain all those obscure references I make. In terms of games I mostly fall back on Minecraft and Starcraft II. The odd game here and there also comes and goes around. TV shows is much more varied, but assume Doctor Who, Firefly, Fringe, Stargate, And the occasional Star Trek. But lately I just tend to fall back on internet video on the YouTube.

Personality wise, I usually am easy going, and try to be nice and helpful. I am open to talk to but can be very shy. Since I am also usually kind of busy and/or European, I tend to not start that many conversations, but they are welcome. Even though I am fairly open, I have a low tolerance for horse shit. So don't pull my leg, or I will eat your face.

I am currently a student or kitty. I forgot which one. trying to become a programming man developer person. But honestly, I'm not that good. I'm more of an idea man, not a execution man. I will happily make your ideas better with my ideas. Don't worry, I'm smart.

Lastly, I am very opinionated, and somewhat knowledgeable. Having been around the block and not born yesterday I have some experience and insight in how things work. Especially if it interests me, you can expect me to know a thing or two. What this means is that if you ask for advice, I am usually willing to freely give such semi-professional advice. What I do not appreciate is asking for it, and being disregarded or blown of. Cause when I do, I'm also out.

A history of Tich

Tich is my internet persona person thing with a long and dangerous past. But allow me to give some history.

Tich originally started during the shameful years, back then I was involved in an MMORPG called MapleStory. These were times I wish to forget. And lo and behold, I got access to NX Cash, being the very value for money kind of consumer I decided to get the character changes. I used a character creator to create the ultimate look. One that would stand the test of time and space itself. Yes, I went for blue long hair and green eyes. And from then on it was settled, that combination was me.

What about the orange t-shirt with black sleeves?

Good question my friend. This actually was an auxiliary thing. I think it looks pretty cool. Mostly because it was low level, and nobody wore it cause you could just get job specific items and be on your way. I however didn't. Being the kind of person who lived in character. I mean It's a role playing game. I wore it as leisure clothing, when strolling round town or hanging around friends or doing something silly. I also used it in a lot of avatars from back then. And it turned into a signature thing. It's mine now.

A new era of Tich!

Sometime during June 2011, for some odd reason of boredom and just curiosity, I decided to do the weirdest thing ever. I heard these Chinese whispers on the internet of a TV show that was very good, something with pastel coloured little horses. I decided to check it out. It was an OK show.

Now during December of that same year, an old member of the now ruins of a forum I went to came to me cause strangely enough, this person used a pony avatar. And I was like "hi wassup Sparkles". The infamous King K Rool had hidden himself as a pony. And invited me to this place. The MLP Forums. I was curious, and never really had the intention to stick around. But I signed up anyway, chatted around, hung around a for a few days. I continued using the human Tich I had previously created. But then I went in deep.

What could only be seen as a spiral of insanity. I made a pony character. Armed with the help of Pencils, a bright young, super talented and friendly lad, we created the monster which is now my pony. Using my human character as a template, I was transformitated into a pony. Yes I spelled that correctly.

Maintaining the blue hair and green eyes. I was turned into a purple pegasus pony. With added Earth Point of Origin glyph as butt talent. And it become a thing. After a while I polled some friends concerning one major addition. Yes the infamous orange t-shirt made it's return! Once again completing the Tich. The last major change done was making sure the hair was up to code. And I retained my flippy hairstyle.

What is this talk of braided hair?

Ah yes, that became a thing. In lieu of watching Fringe, the fact that back in the day I switched up Tich in MapleStory when I was rolling different characters. I had a major different thing.

You see, I had a pirate character, and I gave him one of those hairstyles which I thought would look kind of cool when you put a pirate hat on the head. And since this was considered the major alt character I had. I would say, it was kind of a big deal.

After watching Fringe, I thought, what would alternate universe Tich look like? And the answer was clear, it slapped me right in the face. He was there all along. I now still imagine it, the alternate would have braided and bound hair. Mostly to keep it from being a stupid wavy mess. And since ponies are easily adaptable, there are two versions.

The history behind the person.

After my incoherent rambling of my internet persona. I have a long and dangerous history. I've been around the internet block since possibly 2003. Something like that. I was very young and made many mistakes.

The first community I ever joined was that for a game by the name of Golden Sun. I joined a GameSpy run forum called Golden Twilight. Which back in the day was made for use on their network. It actually had the problem of being mismanaged and being on the decline. It was a sad time. We moved house too much, I tried getting acquainted in other places, but that was my home.

On the sidelines of that I dabbled a little in RPG Maker places. Using a then not so legitimate copy to try out things. I was awful though, and pretty much remember never making things, it was a meh thing. I was kinda good, but I never ended up building something with the knowledge I accrued. All I learned was that sometimes simplicity, is beauty.

Later on I went through the dreaded and dumb MapleStory phase. I ended up joining a a forum and becoming quite entrenched within the community. I was a dumb horse back then like I am now. I spent the majority of my internet time on that forum and not actually playing the game. I was so silly. It was on this forum the use of Tich began. I originally signed up as Tichondrius. But people are insurmountably lazy when typing and abbreviated my name massively. So I started using the shorthand as well, and so I became Tich. I stole it from Warcraft III, thus once again proving I am a dumb horse.

On there I did also end up doing some other things, I started playing some O2Jam. It's actually so pervasive that if you looked hard enough, you can actually find videos of recordings I made of me playing that game. I actually miss it, cause when I got a laptop, the keyboard couldn't handle the key presses and I quit. Shortly after they shut down the servers. On a funny note, i actually ended up playing together with someone who was a professional at it. We even recorded a video.

The days of Minecraft lewed as MapleStory died. I started playing due to someone on the old Golden Sun forum showing it. I was amazed at it. Back then it was pretty basic. I mean it was version 0.13a alpha. But I liked it nonetheless, especially the multiplayer. I quickly decided I wanted a bitching skin as well. So I bought the game and fumbled together a Tich within Photoshop and bam, there I was again. But blockier. I was right there at the very beginning, I made my purchase as one of the first 2,000 to do so, possibly 1,500. I didn't take much significance to it back then.

So i started becoming a big deal, hell, I even played on a server with Notch at some point back in those days. the community was tight and this game was just starting out. At some point I was something very interesting. A server labelled "Bidoof King's Playhouse." I heard about it cause they were building Kanto from Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green. I wanted to see, I needed to see. I looked around and then it happened, I accidentally, destroyed some blocks. I immediately repaired it and apologised. For some reason they trusted me and I joined as a builder. I so far helped construct major mountains like the one north of Hearthhome City. Most of the sea routes in Hoenn and Sinnoh, Chrono Island and Kin Island of the Sevii islands.

It's also thanks to these fine folks, and my own childhood nostalgia of missing my Pokemon Gold game. Which was bricked that I convinced myself to buy a Nintendo DS and HeartGold. I rekindled my love for Pokemon. Some time later I ended up joining this community as well.

Over here I did several things. I was a pretty atrocious moderator with little significance. My crowning achievement being the one where I banned all the youngins with Zoop, Star Wars style. For the rest I helped out with the Minecraft Server a little, but that got axed, and so did I quit, I was a burden on the staff anyway. Personally, my interest faded and I am less of a member here now, then I was back then. Eventually going back into my promise. And not sticking around too much. I am still here though. Although of little significance.

The many moods faces of Tich

Tich has grown over the years. And in those many years, he has stayed the same. But he has become bigger and further reaching.piercing universes. The very nature of time and space itself. One could argue he is a time lord. Or just a monobadass.

He also has his own companions.

Humans

From left to right we have Adria, Tich, Alt Adria and Altich.

I have already talked about Tich and Altich, they represent the same character more or less. But from different universes.

But who is Adria?

Adria started as a sort of joke. She is actually a proper version of a MyBrute character I dubbed SexyTich back in the day. Who to this day, still exists. Here is the original drawing. It is only now she has a name and a personality. In a way she represents the more serious side of me. The no nonsense version of myself. Compared to Tich who is the more relaxed, kind hearted version of me. Kind of the person you debate against.

It is important to realize that while she started off as mostly a joke, she ended up meaning a significant portion of who is me.

Alternate Adria is more of a rebel. and in a way, I still am a rebel. but not really. She does represent my interest in punk rock and metal. Kind of

Ponies

I mentioned I had a pony OC right? RIGHT? Well I do. I actually have several.but pretty much some you've seen around a lot.

Look at this purple pone. He looks kinda derpy and what the hell am I even doing. Such a dumb horse. I use this guy as my main guy. I think his look is pretty much final at this point, and it's this one. All previous iterations are from here on out moot. I like this hair cause it closer resembles the original human he was based off rather than the hair I previously used. Although that hair is still there, kind of. I think he enjoys swimming, AT LEAST YOU CAN USE YOUR WINGS ASSHOLE.

Well, here he is, the other Tich, or Altich. His hair looks slightly more gay, and slightly more lawl. Tich looks more like a surfer according to NC, this guy looks different. Unlike Tich, less of a dumb horse. more of a weird pony. He has his own tumblr account. he is not allowed to use mine.

Well this guy is Ruby Storm, looks a little similar in colour choice to Adria. He was developed to be a sort of childhood best friend person to Tich. In order to give Tich more depth as a person, i mean pony, i literally have to go make more characters. I nicked the colours off Adria cause back then, Adria wasn't a thing yet.then, so I stole SexyTich colours. This OC fell into disuse after the great pony purge of 2013.

This is Flicker Sweet. Uh, he likes sweets, and has a sweets shops. And to keep his hair tidy and to eat sweets. He might be of the homosexual persuasion. He might be of the playful nature really. I made him cause I wanted to make an Earth themed OC. Turns out this guy is what I pulled from the hat. He is very happy and chipper and hyper. Like Ruby, not much use came of him.

This is the last one, I swear. He is Banana Delight. and he is also quite grounded and magicless. His butt talent is bananas. Being or eating or making. DOESN'T MATTER. I assume he has a thing for Tich, and Tich has a thing for him. So uh, boyfriends? Married? I would assume an arrangement like that. He is shy and stuff.

I lied, there is the accident. The Enderpone. He started off cause Mine Little Pony massively fucked up a skin. but it looked funny, a normal skin ponified. And this is the result. I had to get a proper picture. He is an alicorn prince with the ability to teleport and steal all your blocks at night. He also watches you sleep and freezes when you look straight at him. What a weirdo. I filed for a restraining order myself.

Pokemon

Well, as it turns out, I really like Pokemon. And my favourite one is none other than Vaporeon. I have several pictures of a Tich Vaporeon or Ticheon for short, cause why not? Instead of boring with details. Pictures!

I don't wish to offend anyway by not adding them, but I really don't want to add the whole forum to this. I think it devalues the reason to add my actual friends and it devalues the meaning of adding someone there.

  I am aware of the missing information. But I do not wish to add everyone to my already very cluttered Skype and Steam profiles. Less is more. If we do end up talking quite a lot or there is serious reason to add you, I will ask myself.

  I kind of do, I have accounts in other places. I have a DeviantArt account, I have a YouTube for regular videos and another for Minecraft, although those fell into disuse. I don't do much though.

  The priviledge of seeing my face is reserved for true friends and people inside the Illuminati. There is no need to see my real face, you will only need it if we I ever see the real you, but alas, that will likely never happen. Also, pervert.
