My predictions for the Wrestling observer awards 2015

Every year, the wrestling observer magazine, founded by Dave Meltzer, honor and dishonor the wrestling business and the promotions around the world, by awarding them yearly awards. The award started very small in 1980, with Harley Race being the first to be called "Wrestler of the year" by the wrestling observer.

I will now go and predict almost all the awards of this years lineup. This year was another one with alot of ups and downs.

(BTW, i will flat out ignore anything MMA. Not because i dislike, i am a big fan of MMA, i just think it is stupid to compare Pro wrestling with MMA)

Lou Thesz/Ric Flair Award (Wrestler of the Year)

Shinsuke Nakamura. (NJPW)

Most Outstanding Wrestler

AJ Styles (NJPW)

Worst TV Show

Impact Wrestling (TNA)

Worst match of the year

Los Villanos (Villanos III, Villanos IV and Villanos V) vs. Los Psycho Circus (Monster Clown, Murder Clown and Psycho Clown) (AAA Triplemania XXIII)

Worst feud of the year

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev (WWE)

Worst Promotion of the year

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

Best Booker

Gedo and Jado (NJPW)

Best Promoter

Takaaki Kidani (NJPW)

Best Gimmick

The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) (WWE)

Best Pro Wrestling DVD

Sting: Into the Light (WWE)

As you can see, not every category is covered. I had a hard time for example with worst Gimmick, because i didn't find one that really pissed me off, Like Adam Rose last year.

Anyway, that's my prediction. If you have something to say to it, go ahead. :)

Worst TV Announcer

JBL (WWE)

I honestly think the whole WWE announcer crew should go on here. I know JR set the bar really high, but every time I hear their commentary they always sound incredibly bored and sucks out a lot of excitement. Back then with JR/Jerry, and even Cole/Tazz/JBL their commentary could make even weak matches moderately entertaining

Hell I really wish JBL would bring back his heel persona he had when he commentated around '06-'07, he was a lot more entertaining then

It was actually a close call between him and Matt Striker, who now commentates the NJPW shows in English. Striker is incredibly obnoxious with his so called "wrestling knowledge" and talks about other wrestling promotions during the event.

But atleast Matt isn't an asshole like JBL, who sounds like he is drunk during Live Raw shows.

To be fair, the writing for RAW sounds like the creative team are drunk most of the time anyways.

Also, I'm just going to pretend that I can't see Sheamus until he loses the title.

Seriously, if it wasn't for these few awesome moments that we saw on raw, i would consider it an even worse show then Impact Wrestling.

Sheamus as champ was outta nowhere and made no sense. He lost and looked like a joke in a midcard match at the Survivor Series and then was crowned champ later. He is not a believable champ and is a worse result then Reigns holding it.
