Part One: Why are there no requests being filled recently?

1. Requests are filled in chronological order. I make requests in the order that they are posted, rather than picking out random requests or making the easier ones first. So yes, even tho the person before you has posted a request of their OC with a gradient rainbow mane and tail wearing the Princess Dress and riding on a sky rocket, they will still have their OC made before your plain beige OC with the straight blue mane and tail. Which brings me to...

2. Complex requests take time. Such things as gradients, colour merging, clothing and accessories will take me a while to do on my laptop. Dithering in particular takes forever. I like to take my time also with creating an OC to the best of my ability. Sometimes, this Iinvolves making a brand new base with which to best showcase the OC. So yeah, it's gonna take a lot longer than just a random scribble would.

3. Leave of absence. I might be ill or on holiday. I will post this in my thread, but I would like people to understand that if I get sick, I rarely want to make art and if I'm on holiday, the laptop stays at home.

4. Real life. Mostly, I'm at work, but the following occurances are also possible:
* At a concert or music festival.
* At a wedding, party or christening.
* Staying with parents or friends.
* Internet issues.
* Out for the day with my boyfriend.
* At the cinema.

And so forth. Finally...

5. I'm taking a short break. Earlier, I mentioned such things as dithering and colour merges, which altho they look amazing when finished, are a pain in the tail to do and often I prefer to save my work and go play games instead. If I just steadily plod on and on doing a request that involves such hard work, I just get fed up to the back teeth with the request and end up ignoring it for days on end. So in the long run, a request is going to get filled a lot quicker if I can take breaks.

Sooo... that's about it. Any extra questions on this subject, ask in comments and I will answer them in another blog.
