Well, everypony, it has finally come and gone. 2 Days ago, on the 4th of April, the Season 5 premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired. I had woken up that day excited. I mean, this was the longest Haitus for MLP EVER. But it was finally here. I went on Equestria.TV, a watched the whole Season Premiere. Now..... After watching it all the way through, I sat back in my chair, pondering everything I had just watched. And I have to say this...... how can anypony NOT LOVE THIS SEASON OPEN

I enjoyed this episode. I don't think it's the strongest season opener we've had, but it was a better than average episode.
A few random observations:
The original princesses are barely even mentioned. I think the only mention was when one pony (it might have been Sugar Belle) asks Twilight if she's met Celestia. Normally season openers and finales seem to revolve around the princesses or prominently feature them. This episode broke with that.

So I waited so long for Season 5 that when I started watching Cutie Map last night aside from the fact it was too late for me to get invested in the story I decided I was going to do what I've done every season (since S3 when I started this journey) which is to wait until the episodes build up so I can binge watch them.
I had been hyped for Season 5 just two days before then forgot the date thinking it came out the next day, it doesn't air in my Country anyway so I usually wait till someone
I wanted to collect a few more of my thoughts after reading The Cutie Map discussion thread.
My favorite antagonists of the show are these normal ponies, like Trixie and Sunset Shimmer. It remains to be seen whether Starlight Glimmer will be well developed, though. I have no complaints about her yet, but I hope her personal history gets attention (and makes sense) when we see her again.
Continuity with the movies could be improved. Rainbow Rocks shows the Mane Six already at work

My mum made a fancy cake for Easter dessert. Garnished with Flake chocolate bar, Cadbury Mini eggs and melted chocolate. Icing is made of icing sugar, whipped cream and a pound of butter. It's got a jello +vanilla cake as a base.The cake itself is my moms own recipe. She makes the jello in a bowl, and "Pours it over the vanilla cake base and the jello seeps into the air pockets of the cake and she then lets it settle and become jello.

I've made like a DOZEN OCs in the past before, but I really wanted to make an official one for a while...so i'm being careful about it, so I don't throw away my hundredth one.
So I decided to start off with a name. I used the name generator on DA, to get some idea out of what I want to name my OC, on top of what I had in mind for them. Usually ponies are named after their cuties, and talents ironically enough, so I thought i'd use that logic and pick out names I thought were good.
