Thank you all... for Helping Me Realize what's Important

My resolution for this year was to earn a thousand brohoofs. For a moment, I became so overwhelmed by the numbers. It's really all I thought about. I've been seeing all of these people that were ranking in brohoofs by the thousands. It made me want to be like them. I looked up to the members like Dsanders, Skylar, and ChampionRD92. They made me want to be like them; having the amount of popularity they had...   That was until I actually talked to them through PM's. I treated them like gods. Bu

MLP Review - Double Rainboom

200 subscribers. Holy crap, that's an amazing number. To me, it's incredible that I got to a number like this. Thank you all so much! To celebrate, we're going to take a look at the other fanwork in what I consider a duo in bad MLP FiM fan projects, right next to Dusk's Dawn; Double Rainboom.

And now, for that thing I've been talking about nonstop for almost a week now, the PMV on Rainbow Dash's fan song by AcousticBrony and MandoPony, "Loyalty." Let me know what you think about the final product!

Points of Interest in: The Cutie Map

With Season 5 pulled out of the station at last, I thought I'd make a little mini series to celebrate. I won't be reviewing S5, but rather pointing out the stuff that caught my eye while watching the episodes. That said, here is the first installment of a new mini series I call "Points of Interest" and we'll be starting the the S5 premiere, The Cutie Map. Did you guys notice anything interesting? Leave it down below! I'd love to chat with you about it!

Geek0zoid's Holiday Commentaries - Sonic Rainboom

(It should work now, guys!) Sorry about the inverted video, guys. It's About Time was blocked due to a content ID claim, and Quilled Inc suggested that I filp the video horizontally to avoid getting claimed again. I apologize if this seems a bit jarring, but unless I make it an audio-only comm, this is one of the only solutions I have. In any case, here is our commentary over the oh-so controversial Sonic Rainboom! If you enjoyed this commentary, would you please go the extra mile and giv

What should we do for 100 subs?

Recently. my YouTube channel, GeekySteven, passed 100 subscribers on YouTube. I want some help figuring out how to celebrate it. I was thinking of a Smash Bros. or pony livestream, but I thought "That's a bit ambitious, and people have their own lives to live." Regardless, what do you guys think we should do to celebrate this? Leave your suggestions below And, to those who watch my stuff, I can't appreciate the support enough. Thank you for helping me reach this milestone https://www.youtube

Steven Reviews: Shadow the Hedgehog (Gamecube, Playstation 2, and Xbox)

Last week, I reviewed Sonic the Hedgehog's 2011 outing, Sonic Generations. When I finished the review, I gave the game a grade A. I get the feeling that, after I do this kind of stuff for awhile, I think people will get the idea that I'll like pretty much anything that has Sonic's name on it. Allow me to put those thoughts to rest early by reviewing a Sonic game that I DON'T like. Specifically, Shadow the Hedgehog. (Before you read any further, I'm just going to warn you; this review is going to

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Livestream! (Recorded on 12/06/14)

Last night, I did a one hour stream with Ponyville Critic on Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U. Unfortunately, the audio is out of sync by a second or two, and I couldn't fix it. If anyone knows of a way to fix it (Daring?) Could you please let me know? Regardless, I hope you all enjoy!

5 Reasons why you should Buy the Wii U

For those who have read my Sonic Lost World Review, you know that I got a Wii U over the holidays. Don't believe me? Well, here's a picture. When I got this thing, I was expecting a completely different way of gaming. Sure enough, Nintendo provided that, as well as some other aspects of console gaming that I'm familiar with. Personally, I think the Wii U topples the PS4 and Xbox One. But, I'm going to explain my reasoning behind this. So, join me as I give you five reasons why you should buy

Should MLP "Analysis" Be Opinionated or Entertaining?

An argument that I've heard going on in and out of the MLP analysis community, especially ever since Tommy Oliver and Drowning in Horseshoes left a few months ago, is "Should analysis be more about opinions or more about entertainment." What a fascinating argument! Let's throw my two cents in... and your pitchforks.

Steven Reviews: Sonic Generations

Even though I'm a HUGE Sonic the Hedgehog fan, my opinions of certain games in the series change all the time. For example, Sonic Generations. Back when this game came out in late 2011, I was in the middle with it when it came to my overall opinion. But, after playing it again after two years, my opinion on the game has changed drastically. I couldn't believe how much this game harps on the nostalgia of previous titles. But, on top of that, I couldn't believe how well they did it.   But, befor

Steven Reviews: Pikmin 2 (Gamecube and Wii)

After the release of Pikmin in 2001, the game, to many peoples' surprise, was a smash hit on the Gamecube, both financially and critically. Over one million copies were sold worldwide and it's still considered one of the greater Gamecube titles. With how well the first game did, the head of Nintendo, Shigeru Miyamoto, would announce a sequel being in development in December of 2002.   Nearly two years later, in August 2004, Pikmin 2 was released on the shelves in North America. Just like the f

Steven Reviews: Pikmin (Gamecube & Wii)

You guys were probably expecting a review of a Wii U game as the first review of 2014, correct? Well, you would be wrong on that. The game I plan to review is a sequel to a series that already has two installments before it. So, I figured I might as well knock both of those games out before I get to the latest one.   So... Pikmin. Yeah, if you don't know about it, that's understandable. As you can see from the box art. Pikmin was released for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2001. It was also re-relea

Geek0zoid's Holiday Commentaries - It's About Time

This was originally meant to go up before Sonic Rainboom, as you might be able to tell. Due to a worldwide blockage, however, it couldn't be seen by pretty much anybody. I decided to do the same trick I did with Rainboom to avoid another claim. So far it's working, so I'm gonna do my best to keep it up. Here is the first (or, in this case, second) commentary to celebrate the holidays; the Wibbly-Wobbly, TImey-Wimey episode, It's About Time. If you guys enjoyed the commentary, would you min

Geeky Game Review - Bayonetta 2 (Wii U)

Well, we are eleven days into 2015, and instead of beginning my 2015 adventures with something new, I'm falling back on something I still have yet to do from last year. In November, I reviewed the first Bayonetta game, and I found myself enjoying it quite a bit. Now, we move on to it's Wii U exclusive sequel, Bayonetta 2. This is going to be a pretty quick review, as there's plenty of familiar territory to be found. Nevertheless, here is my review on Bayonetta 2! If you guys enjoyed this vi
