Yes, this is another product placement. Go ahead and sue me.
I haven't posted anything this week and i really lack any real originality to write something really great. So i just thought "hey, i had the network for over a month now and i already looked at some really classic PPVs." So yeah, why not talk about some great and awful PPVs i saw on the Network?
The WWE Network has all the PPVs from WWE, WCW and ECW and it really feels like an archive of everything that is good about Wrestlin
Well, we're totally in the Wrestlemania season everybody and it's this time again, just like the last Wrestlemania since 2013, that i really worry about the show as a whole. My worries for Wrestlemania 29 where pretty much confirmed, since most of the matches weren't good and the main event between John Cena and an out of shape Rock was just business as usual for the WWE.
Now i fear that my worries for Wrestlemania 32 are being again confirmed,
I know that i will probably open a big can of worms here, because i know for a fact that Goldberg was a childhood hero for alot of people. But for what is worth, i will say this. I have no problem with people liking this guy. This is just simply my opinion. And i also say that Bill is a very nice guy personally and is incredibly smart.
Goldberg will always be remembered for being the guy, who had a over 170 winning long streak in WCW, until he got beat in a very anticlimactic way on Starcade
Sorry for not making any Wrestling Blogs in awhile. I have a few other things in my head right now, besides Wrestling. But this Article is just Wonderful:
At this point, TNA pretty much reached the point of no return. Dixie Carter has to sell the company to someone, or this will be the end. Though, i already heard tha
I kinda knew it before it happend, but i marked out eitherway. They now aquired Shinsuke Nakamura, a 14 year veteran of New Japan Pro Wrestlng and a 3 time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. He is without a doubt, the hottest and best thing, that walks around in prowrestling right now.
I know, there are some doubters out there, that he probably won't be allowed to use his strong style in the US. But right now, i don't care. I think with Sami Zayn, Shinsuke has an opponent which can become match of t
Many things have happend in the last few days in the world of wrestling, so i am going briefly through all of them.
Apparently, the owner of Ring of Honor and their parent company Sinclair Broadcast company, are interested in buying out the TNA name, who have been quite in a financial struggle for awhile now. What they will do with the name is not really clear, but it might look like it, that TNA gets merged into Ring Of Honor, with their whole video library and some of their talent wrestlin
2 nights ago marked a historical debut, as "the phenomenal" AJ Styles, a man who was once called "mr.TNA" made his WWE Debut, as the number 3 of the Royal Rumble Match. He came out to one of the biggest wrestling pops in recent memory and he survived the rumble for almost a half hour, until he was eliminated by Kevin Owens. The IWC is going rampant ever since and make all sort of claims, saying that he should be WWE Champion immediatly and what not. But after i calmed down a bit from all marki
It's pretty much a comin these days in the EWF (Equestrian Wrestling Federation,) you have alot of underrated talents in the roster that alot of people would like to see succeed, but they are constantly shunned away into the midcard and ponies like Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Trixie, etc. pretty much decide the world title for themselves every PPV.
But it seems like a Southern Pony by the name of Applejack, who has been constantly kept down in the midcard now gets her chance this sunda
I know i haven't talked about Wrestling for awhile, but this is something that is close to my heart.
Yesterday, the greatest wrestling manager of all-time and one of the funniest and greatest commentators of all-time, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has passed away at the age of 73. The way that he died are still unknown, but i rather want to talk about how he lived.
Bobby Heenan was one of the most despised heels, in the first golden age of Wrestling in the WWE/WWF between the mid 80s and ea
It might seem like Wrestling right now, is having a huge boom with promotions like ROH, TNA, Lucha Underground and NJPW just recently coming down with Wrestle Kingdom X. But i have a feeling, that this seems like to be the calm before the storm, for the WWE to make another big revolutionary change in the Wrestling world.
Triple H and Stephanie Mcmahon will soon be owner of a global entertainment brand with full digital, mobile and terrestrial broadcast, as well as inroads into properties tha
Granted, he didn't knew about the rise of the NWO, because that was a year before it. But if we look at it in retrospect, he was kinda right.
The topcard guys (Hogan, Hall, Nash, etc) are all guys, who have huge egos, especially Hogan, who was never willing to put the young guys over at that time. And instead of pulling on a string together, the huge egomaniacs rather wanted to do stuff on their own. And after awhile, it was tiring to watch mat
I know that i might be a bit naive, when it comes to this. But when i learned something during my time as a wrestling fan for the past 16 years, it's that you should never say never.
Since Roman Reigns is now getting constantly booed again, after having a small 2 week pop from the fans, the WWE should realize that their golden boy is not really the guy who they should push, since he is another student of the "John Cena Super babyface" academy.
We're just one day away, from NXT Takeover: Dallas and for some of us, this event might be even more hype then Wrestlemania, with a supercard of awesome matches, that makes the old vin mans main roster look like a joke.
I thought i take the time to predict the matches of the show.
Austin Aries vs. Baron Corbin
Winner: Austin Aries
Aries is being booked as a huge signee, like Samoa Joe, rather than a glorified veteran enhancement talent, like Rhyno. Whether he has a shot at the ma
Over 10 years ago, TNA held the unbreakable PPV in 2005. The main event was a triple threat match between Samoa Joe, a former ROH champion and a current NXT star; Christopher Daniels, a multi-time tag team champion and one of the most entertaining wrestlers ever; and AJ Styles, the longtime TNA loyalist who has absolutely exploded in New Japan Pro Wrestling over the last few years, winning the IWGP Championship (the New Japan version of the World title) two times, a rare feat for a non-Japanese
Let this sink in guys...AJ Styles, a guy who fans used to call "Mr.TNA" is the new WWE Champion. I have waited 14 years for this moment, to be reality.
I still remember me and my brother fetching the TNA Tapes from the Asylum years when i was 12. I saw AJ back then and all i can think was "who is that little devil?" Between all the other unknown stars at that time, AJ was the guy who sprung out the most.
I followed his whole career. He had legendary matches in TNA with Samoa Joe, Christo
It took quite awhile for me to finally get this. But finally, after a Paypal option was created, i bought myself a subscription for NJPW World, New Japan Pro Wrestlings answer to the WWE Network. How well does it hold up?
First of all, i must say that it's cheaper then the WWE Network. NJPW World only costs 999 Yen a month, which is 7,40€ in europe so that is already a big plus.
Their Menu needs a bit to get used to, but it's good overall. You might be a bit shocked at first at the jap
I am so sick and tired, of the bullshit things that this company is putting out and calls it the best thing they ever did and i am so sick of hoping that they get better, because quite frankly, these guys won't get better and sooner or later, this promotion will be flushed down the toilet where it belongs.
Here are a few things that piss me off:
-Eric Young is in the midcard with a totally worthless title -There is no blood, eventhough the storylines are mature -Matt Hardy brings his inf
It is true ladies and gentleman. Samoa Joe defeated Finn Balor, for the NXT Title...at a house Show in Mass. A World title, didn't changed hands at a house show, since Diesel won it against Bob Backlund in 1994 and that was in Madison Square Garden.
But Apparently, Balor suffered a knee injury and the ref made a cross sign during the match, saying that Balor has injured himself, so Joe had to end the match and take the belt from Balor.
This is probably the biggest surprise for me in this years hall of fame, but one that i am very happy with. Stan Hansen is probably one of the most underrated legends in the history of this sport.
He made up the legend, that his Lariat broke the neck of Bruno Sammartino, eventhough it was a botched body slam, that suspended him from the WWWF for 5 years.
He then went on to the AWA to become AWA champion and then got to Japan, where he proba
Before the WWE and WCW became global powerhouses in Wrestling during the late 80s and early 90s, there was the NWA, or National Wrestling Alliance. NWA wasn't a Wrestling promotion, but more of a governing body that held historically, the most independent wrestling promotions in history. These promotions back then, where called "territories," because they all had control over a specific area in the United States. All those territories had there own champs and their own superstars and Titles. But

And wrestling as we knew it is now over.
This is sarcasm, in case it isn't clear.
Have some Finn Balor awesomeness:
I know, for some it's probably old news. But i love this little blog so much, because it just reflects my personal distane for Kevin Dunn as a producer and as a human being and why he is far worse for the WWE, then Vince Mcmahon.
So yeah, their you have it. It's pretty much one of the reasons, why i still support the WWE, just in the hopes that it gets better, once Kevin Dunn leaves. Hunter and NXT say hi.
Also, Cheeseburger is the greatest.
This was the first time in a long time, that i actually watched a TNA match. But after so many telling me, about how great this feud was and how this was supposed to be literally the greatest thing in wrestling, i had to give it a shot.
I will be very short here. I really didn't liked it, if i want to be honest. I will give TNA that, it was a very unique experiment and i have to tip my hat to them. But what most people don't realize is, that unique isn't automatically good. The finish was in
