The Pony Multiverse....or PonyVerse

Since acknowledging My Little Pony: Pony Life as the next chapter in the legacy of My Little Pony, I thought to myself "What if Pony Life crossed over with Friendship is Magic?"   But then, I thought bigger and wondered if there will ever be the idea of a Pony Multiverse? My hope for Pony Life?

I'm hoping that it ends up as a My Little Pony variation of the classic Looney Tunes shorts.   It doesn't have to be a 22-minute long episodic series like Friendship is Magic, nor does it have to be 11-minutes.  At least 5:30 that focuses on certain characters and their antics should be good.  In fact, I will also say that it should also take some more cues from Looney Tunes(Or from New Looney Tunes, formerly Wabbit: A Looney Tunes series) in terms of slapstick and comedy, all while ma

A MLP Special idea that's a nod to the Muppet Show

The idea goes like this.  And it would be a 2 hour special.   Twilight Sparkle has decided to put on a stage show in a brand new stagehouse theatre.  She hires a number of familiar characters, including her friends, many of the familiar side characters, and even the villains.  Like with the Muppet Show, there are a number of random skits that are based on certain characters.  There is even going to be mash ups on random characters. Another MLP Movie idea that popped up during work

So today at work, I had another brainstorm of an idea involving an Alternative MLP Universe.  The style is similar to Friendship is Magic, as well as the voice cast.  But many of the origin stories are a bit different, not to mention some of the layouts.  Here's how it goes. 2019: The final year of MLP:FiM?

We have entered 2019, having come off of Season 8 and the Best Gift Ever special.  And judging by what's going on with Hasbro, it looks as if Season 9 will be the final year of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic(Unless Hasbro pulls a fast one and announces ether a 10th season, or goes all out with some new specials or a Youtube series).   It's been a long ride for me and the series.  I've enjoyed the entire cartoon, some of the merch(Including the famous MLP SDCC 2012 Derpy Hooves Figure.)

A Live Action MLP Movie Idea of mine involving Princess Celestia

WIth the surprise reviews of the new Bumblebee Movie(Currently standing at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes), I actually thought about a Princess Celestia Live Action movie focused on the Princess of the Sun.  But unlike the source material, this is less saccharine and more serious.   The movie title will be called Celestia.  The characters are.... MLP Character idea: Starscream and Slipstream

In case there can't be any Transformers in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Universe, here are my ideas for two existing Decepticons   Starscream(Voice: ether Michael Dobson or Steve Blum) Slipstream(Voice: Tara Strong) Starscream and Slipstream are Hippogryphs, formerly from Mt. The MLP Movie would have flopped regardless of reception.

THis is something that's been going on in my head recently with the My Little Pony movie.  And this is gonna be harsh, but I feel like I have to say this. This movie wouldn't have done well regardless of reception. Even if this movie got a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, it still wouldn't do well in Box Office.  Sadly, I can bring up one prime example and it's a recent one: "Teen Titans Go to the Movies."  Despite its positive reception at 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie only made back $11.5

Comic-COn Final Day: Short and Sweet

So we're keeping it short and sweet.   With help from my brother, I was able to get into Room 6A to attend two panels. The first one was the LEGO Ninjago panel.  The reason why I did this is to meet one of the actors: Kelly Metzger, who is Spitfire on My Little Pony.  But as I saw the cartoon, I was amazed on how far it came in terms of design and color palette.  If I can find this on a streaming service, I'm gonna dedicate myself to it. Comic-Con Day 2: Bringing my father along

On day two, for the first time since 2001, I was accompanied by my own father to Comic-Con.  And yes, he was with me for every panel that I went to.   First off, I was able to acquire an Autograph panel.  But I also have a better prize: I got a VIP pass for the Hasbro Booth.  I'll explain after I talk about the MLP Panel. Comic-Con Day 1: It's Morphin Time

So here's day 1 of Comic-Con.  It started out having to wait in the hot sun to even get into the Convention Center(Yesterday, I just waited in line in the Sales Pavilion).  First thing I did was that I went to the Cyanide and Happiness Booth to meet with Austin St John: The original Mighty Morphin Power Ranger(Red, plus Zeo Ranger Gold).  Surprisingly, there was no line for him.  So while I waited, I did have a friendly chat with him, and he apparently is intrigued by the Nintendo Switch.  I gav

Today's Padres game at Petco Park: How to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat

So instead of attending the last day of Anime Conji, I wound up going to a Baseball game at Petco Park.  The match was the San Diego Padres(Our home team) vs the Cincinnati Reds.   The game started out with nether team making any runs, until the Reds got a Home Run in the 2nd Inning, making us a bit nervous.  Halfway through the game, the Reds were 2-0 after they got another score.  We were in trouble. Anime Conji 2/2. It's all about the voice

A much longer day than yesterday.  Mainly because it went from 10AM to 6:15PM. Anime Conji 1/2. Wait. It's back?

No Hasbro Comic-Con Exclusives?

Every year, by this time, Hasbro has announced most of its Comic-Con exclusive line up. Last year, Bronies were disappointed in a lack of Comic-Con exclusives.  But this year, something seems odd.  Hasbro has yet to announce a single Comic-Con Exclusive.  There are only two logical conclusions I can come up with. 1) Hasbro is biding its time to announce a single Comic-Con exclusive.  This is the scenario I'm hoping for: Hasbro is simply waiting till next month to talk about its 2018 Comic-C

My own Speculation of the Season 8 Finale of My Little Pony(Spoilers)

Comic Fest Day 3: I don't need no Stinkin Ethics

As of today, the San Diego Comic Fest is once again over.   My only panels that I went to involved the following 1) Comic-Con in 1977: Back before I Was born, Comic-Con was a really cheap place to get into.  Cheaper than Comic Fest and especially cheaper than today's Comic-Con(Yeah.   I'm looking at you $300 Convention for four days).  IT wasn't as huge as today's Comic Con, but I heard there was plenty to do at the El Cortez Hotel.   I also heard that back in 1980, Comi

Comic Fest Day 2: I like thinking Big. You might as well think big.
