Why MLP might be kinda harmful to you

So after reading this title you probably think "wait what? How could a show about cartoon ponies be in any way harmful? O.o" But hear me out, while I still acknowledge that this fandom and the show has their positive sides, like for instance I found a lot of friends throught it and improved my social skills quite a lot, I still think that some character steriotypes and the way they are portrait might give some people wrong believes. I'am talking about characters like Fluttershy, yeah, exactly that one -><- ! The thing is Fluttershy is well, um.........shy, but she's still portrait as if she's perfect like she is and shouldn't change, and that's not good. It's ignoring completely that shyness is a bad personality trait that prevents you from doing a lot of things. If you're shy, you will overall be less successfull in life, which includes stuff like getting a job, dating, friends, whatever, shyness is a huge obstacle a lot of things, and therefore it should be overcome, and never be accapted as one of your personality traits, like MLP is telling you. I see a lot of people who identify themselves with Fluttershy and therefore accept their shyness rather then working on overcoming it. 

But these are just my thoughts about it, I would love to know what you think about this.
