It's funny, I only ever seem to write these things when my life takes a turn for the worse, and this is definitely one of those occasions. Blogging seems to really help me vent, and this is the only real outlet I have. I hope, as I share this story, I'll gleam some meaning from it just as much as you, the reader, might.
This year, at University, has really pushed me into places I've never been, shoved me into situations I've never had to deal with, and it's been a boatload of discomfort and
So, I was talking with some of my brony friends IRL yesterday, and we brought up the point of how Luna looks totally different in her Season 2 and 3 appearances than she does than she does in the second half of the first episode. Some might argue that this is because of improved budget and skills at animating the ponies. I disagree.
Now, unless you've had your head stuck in a hole for the past two seasons, you know that instead of looking like this...
Luna now looks like this...
(I evidently forgot to publish this... I wrote this on June 30th, the day after my birthday. And I stand by it all.)
I know my birthday was yesterday, and I'd like to start this little spiel off with a disclaimer. I had a good birthday. Nothing horrible happened apart from the entire staff of a restaurant coming to serenade me and bring me free ice cream. And that wasn't bad either. I just wanted to share my thoughts, which have nothing to do with how the day itself actually went.
The family trotted into the Gymnasium of Baltimare High School looking around proudly. There were four of them all together; a muscular unicorn stallion with a shiny puce coat and a haughty demeanor, who was unmistakably the father; a slim periwinkle pegasus mare with a long purple mane who trotted with her tail closely intertwined with the puce stallion; and two young colts.
The older of the two colts, whose coat was a deeper shade of purple than his younger brother's lavender, and whose na
When I first started watching the show, Rarity was easily my least favourite pony. Hardest for me to sympathise with. However, I think Rarity is an acquired taste. I've come to love her, and she's probably replaced the Pinkie Pie/Fluttershy tie as best Mane Six. Here's why.
1. Her Hypocrisy
Originally, this is the mane reason I cited for disliking Rarity. However, I've come to disagree with my old view.
Nopony's perfect, and as the Element of Generosity, she's probably the pony who
I'll admit, I've never been good at managing my time. I'm a horrible procrastinator, and tend to put leisure in front of things that need to be done. And I can't really help it. I've always been this way. But I've noticed that this problem of mine has multiplied since discovering ponies.
Don't get me wrong, MLP is the best thing to have ever happened to me. When I discovered the show in October, I was on breaking point. I'd just had a horrible breakup, and frankly, I had fallen into a depres
Okay, so this is my first blog entry, like, ever. So I figure I'll knock out two birds with one stone by getting all these extra thoughts out of my head, as well as linking my OC's to one page. Saves room on my sig, you know.
I might rant a bit about something I don't like about one of them. If I do, feel free to comment about it. I don't really care.
