Also, I want a couple because of the "WTH" and creepy value those things have.
I just thought of something really meaningful about the return to Shadow Moses in MGS4
Imagine being 13 years old in 1999 and playing MGS1 on the PSX(because damn it, we all know we played M rated games long before 17) and working so hard to beat it and help Snake save the world. Imagine later on Getting you're first PS2 and playing MGS2, then finally MGS3. 18 Years old is what you'd be as you completed it in 2004.
Spin-offs and PSP games come and go, you pick-up the Twim Snakes to reliv

Just finished chapter 3 last night and I have a few observations:
The first is that it's poorly optimized as hell. It has a severe lack of scaling options and can barely keep an FPS over 30 on my system that can nearly max Skyrim out at a steady 50-60FPS despite not looking much prettier than something like Resident Evil 5 or one of the PS3/360 generation SIlent Hill games(and that's with the resolution cranked down a little to like 1000p, I might play with a little more).
Even turning t
I finally went and loaded my pre-paid up and ordered my stuff(I hope I got the right cables, my drives didn't come with any) My monitor came with a video cable and audio cable, and my GPU came with it's power cord. Attached Thumbnails

Like, there's few times I want to cry over petty shit but this story(what little of it there was) was so damn good the fact there's a 90% it won't get updated again almost brings me to that point.
Good deals today
Armored Core(PS1, CIB) $3
Naughty Bear: Gold Edition(CIB, 360) $8
Last of Us(CIB, I think) $8
GTA5(CIB) $8
No clue WHO in the their right mind would sell a new release that GS is probably still giving $25 for to the pawnshop, but yeah.
I just had a thought.
Conspiracy theories(or rather, the community around them) are the ultimate echo-chambers:
Someone disagrees? They must be a shill(I've actually been called this by a couple really crazy theorists just because I could tear their theories apart)
Information goes against you're view of reality? It must be planted.
The evidence on hand challenges your theory? It must be falsified in some way.
Someone doesn't believe you or doesn't share your delusions? They
New DMC/MLP headcannon:
All the princesses are Nephilim(including Twilight, but she’s just now reaching her full power)
Twilight’s little transformation in Feeling Pinkie Keen could be a devil trigger that she can’t fully control and “Nightmare Moon” could be one for Luna since she’s show to be able to take that form at will in Luna Eclipsed.”Dark Magic” could be devil energy and we haven’t see the equivalent of angelic power yet*.
Sombra could be as well(or at least half-demon, which is more
Well, I gave the new DMC a whirl last night and it's not as bad as everyone says. The gameplay is solid and fun, as the graphics are gorgeous. The story is also decent once you get past how hard it's trying to be dark and edgy. I'm sure you all want to hear what complaints I have though.
Let's start with the big one(there's going to be complaining a lot about the art direction here because that's one of my biggest problems. The graphics may be pretty but there's some questionable design choi
Didn't do bad today:
Conflict Vietnam(Xbox, CIB) $1
Goosebumps: Horrorland(PS2, CIB) $5. I overpaid but I couldn't pass it up because I loved Goosebumps as a kid and still collect GB stuff for old times sake
Vagrant Story(PS1, No Manual) $.75
Darkstone(PS1, CIB) $.50
DMC HD Collection(Xbox360, CIB) $3
DmC(Xbox360, No Manual) $3
and a random budget title for $1
I have no clue, honestly. I don't have anything that would make it look like I'm planning a wedding in my wishlist or reviews. All I can guess is someone assumed all the pony stuff on my wishlist was for a girlfriend.
(This is something I wrote up back on Father's Day and never shared anywhere, but I am now because all of it is true)
First father's day since Dad passed.I kind of miss just going up there every Sunday or so to talk or play cards and so does Carl. I kinda wish we had all played a few more hands of cribbage then we got around to, maybe played one last hand the last time I saw him in the nursing home since he never made down the rec-room like he planned to the next day.
It hit me hard when I saw
The Dual-Channel Mode is doing wonders, I was even able to bump up the render distance a little.
I was lucky to pull 22FPS before, so this a major upgrade, it doesn't even drop below 38FPS when it does lag.
This is the kind of boost I got just going from a single 4GB chip, to two of them(which also enabled dual-channel mode)

I just for my copy of the Journal Today, and so far is seems pretty nice. As you can see it's made in the same style as the Elements of Harmony Guidebook. It's the same exact size as well, save for being shorter/thinner(it balances out because it has a lot of text in it, unlike the EoH book which was padded with a lot of pictures)
On a quick thumb-through, it has some interesting entries in the Celestia/Luna portion as well(which is the first 2/3 or so of the book, all the journal ent
I went out and took some pictures with my new DSLR(yes, I'm counting that as art). I think I did pretty good for my first time using a proper semi-professional camera.

So, I finally broke down and bought a higher end camera because Wal-Mart had a kit for $450:
Cannon Rebel T3
8GB High-Speed Memory Card
Bag,
18-55mm lens
75-300mm lens
I've been wanting to get into photography, so I'm glad I grabbed this
