Hello script fillies and colts, and welcome to another episode of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing. As many of you might have seen from Marco's stream, he is setting up a fundraiser to help get community members to BronyCon 2014 in Baltimore. Based on the crazy hotel room grabs going down, this might be a glorious event of unforeseen proportions. Now what people don't know is that I am also involved in this fundraising effort.
Essentially, here is how it works:
I have set up bronyconssz
Well, it finally happened. After having the dream put off once before in May, the singularity of Lumi and I in the same place was born. And let me tell you, it was an epic trip filled with danger, crazy, and a whole mess of ponies. Let's start at the beginning known as May.
Lumi and I had bonded in the crucible known as May 2013 - a hellish time drowned in a whole bunch of bullcrap. We had floated the idea of meeting during my trip to Austin onto the table, but it just did not work out. Fast
Well, hey everypony. I wish I had a better topic to discuss for the 8th Episode of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing -- but I don't. Honestly, this may be the first time in my life that I feel the karma of my universe is completely fucking totaled. I moved on Sunday to start a new job, and the entire process has just sucked in every possible way.
For starters, I was supposed to move on Friday, but the moving company called me and asked if I could change my departure to Sunday to help with
All gone! Enjoy your commissions folks, and have fun with the work dump Mare.
Now, get the bucking hell off my text file, you Celestia-blessed hippies!
Hey hey script ponies and welcome the the 6th episode of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing. Today, after three days of plotting, conniving, and general sneakiness, I finally was able to troll Dawn Rider (in the nicest way possible) for epic lols. You see, on Saturday, I forced him to sing a duet with Marco of You're the Inspiration by Chicago. Suffice it to say, he didn't take it too well --- although they both did a stand up job to which I give infinite props.
And then, Wingy started thin
Greetings and salutations ponies, and welcome to the 5th episode of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing. My last week was filled with quite a bit of stress -- minus of course one phenomenal event, which I will get to later. The gist of it is that I will be moving back to Chicagoland to start a new post at a national lab. This, obviously, requires moving, logistics, lots of driving... essentially all the shit that ponies bucking hate. In four days, I will leave a life behind, most of my friends,
The blog train continues pony peoples... Welcome to the 4th installment of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing. It occurred to me a second ago that today is a really special day in my life. Aside from the obvious fact that it is Star Wars day, today marks the 2nd anniversary of my recovery from what could have been a very bad set of health issues.
Being a graduate student, I consumed a lot of caffeine -- typically in the form of Coke Zero -- as I was overworked and a Coke consumption whore.
Greetings and salutations all you pony-fabulous ponies, and welcome to the 3rd episode of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing. Today, I'd like to take you on a marvelous adventure to the real world to show you just what kind of crazy shit I do.
First on my list of show and tell is a video I made about a device called the Cloud Chamber. This is actually the first instrument invented to view particle interactions in real time. It banked a Nobel Prize in the early 1900s, so I just think it is c
Hello again script ponies, and welcome to another installment of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing. I don't normally do this, but what the hay? When there a worthy cause on the line, you do what you can.
Mareinthemoon, see --> http://mlpforums.com/topic/50099-mareinthemoon-commissions-art-and-animations/ needs commissions to meet the bills. I know a lot of you might not have access to funding and all that jazz, but I'm going to pull a shameless plug here. I mean, holy crabapples, look a
Hey script ponies, and welcome to this exciting episode of Random Ramblings of Wing. Time for the Captain Obvious statement of the day. My imagination is a jackass. I love it; don't get me wrong, but it will not shut the hell up for anything it seems.
After spending months preparing my thesis defense and ascending to the level that gets that nice little 'Dr.' slapped in front of my name -- as an aside Dr. Wing T.F. McCallister sounds quite ballsy -- my imagination disk exploded. Generally w
It should be pretty damn obvious that I enjoy MLP. Since this is my first blog, I feel obligated to really explain what it is about these forums that I find particularly enjoyable. I'm fairly new here, and I have spent most of my time poking about the Fan Fiction board to leave various comments whenever I can. However, in that puny amount of time, I've noticed a two glorious things about this community: a glorious amount of creativity and a lack of douchebaggery.
Now, I've been around the w
