Bedtime when you have ADHD

What I'm consciously telling myself right now: "Go to bed, Space Woona. You have a difficult exam in the morning and you need to rest."

What my ADHD is screaming: "♪♫AND I WULD WAKL FIEV HUNDRED MIELS AND I WOUL DWALK FIEV HUNEDRED MOAR!♫♫...."

*sigh* story of my life.

Well I'm gonna try to go to bed now.

Nice. Incidentally I have TERRABLE short term memory, so when I tell myself to go to sleep, I forget shortly after.... ADHD sounds worse though... I feel for ya bro.

I have ADD and this is basically every night and every morning, yeah.

I always find myself doing really stupid things at night that sound hilarious until the next day when I realize that, no, they're just stupid. I assume the same results are garnered by most with alcohol?  :yay:

ADHD isn't all that bad to live with. I'm just super easily distracted and I forget things all the time. I've always had trouble remembering to do my homework. Even as a college senior preparing to go to graduate school, I'm having trouble remembering to keep my homework done.

I can have the humor of a 7 year old. And I laugh at my own jokes. Especially when nobody else does. At night, I think of drama stories to write and there were a few times I typed them up in Word. Then I'd close my laptop. The next morning, when I looked at what I'd written, I'd ask myself what the heck I was thinking  Well it sounded good while I was writing it! haha And when it comes to alcohol, it just depends. My roommate is a pretty funny drunk.

I look at the ceiling and try to sleep..... Wait whats this? The king has been killed? Send Fantasia's troops, and find the killer! Falto I need you to...and etc. and etc.....Yeah... my ADHD has an effect on my mind to where my thought process won't stop! I just want to get up and just start acting about and whatnot. I mean seriously! Its scenario after scenario!

I can definitely relate to the laughing at illogical times and thinking that everything is funny when actually you're just being weird and off-putting.

(Being that I have the inattentive rather than hyperactive subtype, though, I feel more of an odd sense of lethargy as opposed to the bouncing-of-the-walls-ness. it's like having a big cotton ball clouding up my head.)
