Wow, has it been two years already?

October 29, 2012 was a day I made a life changing decision. OK, that might be a slight exaggeration. Nonetheless, that was the day I joined MLP Forums and it has made a lasting impact on me. And to think I mainly joined because I was stuck at home and bored due to Hurricane Sandy. It feels like I've only been here a few months, wow! And all this time you thought October 29 th was just National Cat Day!

This place has been amazing. I made more and closer friends than I ever dreamed when I first signed up. Some of these friends I have had the pleasure of meeting in real life include Troblems and Thrashy in San Francisco as well as a whole slew of fellow members at Bronycon. I was also very humbled and honored when I was invited to join the staff as a moderator. That too has been an enriching experience. Unfortunately, due to real life activities and an ongoing sleeping disorder, I can't devote as much time to the forums as I would like.:( But rest assured, this is still my favorite website and I visit at least for a few minutes every time I get on the computer. And I hope to celebrate more anniversaries in the years ahead. :yay:

So, where were you two years ago? :)

Happy Forumversary! A lot can happen in two years. Two years ago was (as you mentioned) Hurricane Sandy, and my grandmother lived in Manahawkin ... so I had taken time off from work to help with the aftermath.

I actually pull up the threads from two and three years ago and it's like finding treasure when I run into some of you old timers :D

Now imma hunt down your first post.

I was an egotistical idiot in my freshman year of high school making bad decisions XD And I also didn't know MLP was actually a thing, thought my animation teacher used Spike as a walking cycle example and had an MLP calendar on the wall X3
