I think you're going to end up regretting it very much when you're older, and not because you aren't gonna get something frivolous like a good grade out of it, but because you're severely limiting yourself and wasting your time doing essentially nothing of value.

I guess a lot of kids think like that though, I used to. The best advice I could give to anyone still going to school is do it for the experience and the knowledge, not the grade. But that's a difficult suggestion to make to someone whose being forced to go to school to begin with.

I do hope you have no regrets.

I realize that there's a difference between disliking school, which a lot of people feel, and not caring for school. I agree with Shield here, school isn't all about getting a little black letter in a little white book. I know you've heard enough BS about how you'll need what you learn in real life, but in this capitalistic society of ours, you need an education, and those little letters, in order to survive. Education is only important as a means of producing money. Now, I'm not saying you wouldn't go to school in a Marxist/Communist society, but in that scenario you'd learn things that you will ACTUALLY need in the field, not just learning to find the average of your purchases or whatever.

Although it sucks, you have to do dat shit.

Think of it this way. Once it's done, you're never going to have to go to school again (Hopefully). Then once it's complete, you can enjoy that short time-frame before having to go find a job.

Life's a biatch. You just gotta deal with it. Although it still isn't that hard. You have days off. Sure they not be much, but at least it's something you probably take for granted. What would you do if suddenly schools started doing school on Saturday?

Deal with the shit, enjoy what you can.

Don't get senioritis this early, it will stay if you let it stay there. It got to me and to say the least, it wasn't pretty. Just keep going and do your work, and think of yourself and what you want to do in your future, as chances are, most of it isn't possible without the work you're doing now.

A good education is absolutely critical in modern society. It is an investment. Some might say that you won't get anywhere without a proper education--and they'd be right. Get good grades, get into a good college, and get a good job.
