That is one of the many reasons why Mozart is my favorite classical composer, I love that sick, perverted little bastard. Haydn who most people haven't heard of is also pretty awesome, he was Beethoven's teacher briefly and was a master at "Scherzo" ie musical jokes. His most famous being this one he pulled when he got sick of audiences falling asleep during his symphonies. He made this song nicknamed the "Surprise Symphony" where he had this soft music playing and then out of nowhere has this loud note played to scare the crap out of his audience.

Haydn is actually my favourite composer I'll have to put up something of his at some point, maybe one of the other symphonies with a funny name.

Even so, I think Mozart edges out Haydn for dirty humor...Haydn was reputed to be a nice guy, Mozart not so much

It's nice to know that Mozart had a sense of humour! They should have told us about the song in grade 5 music, we'd have the whole school singing it by the end of the year
