WWE did another bait and switch (Survivor Series 2015)

How can they do this, without feeling a bit bad for this? This could've been one of the best PPVs of the company this year and they throw it all away, by making the most half assed and predictable thing they do.

The WWE knows that the fans will never accept Roman Reigns as a top babyface and i thought that this would be a good opportunity to turn him heel during the final match. Giving him the Title while screwing Dean Ambrose over and him joining the authority. Instead, they go the most safest route possible. He beats Ambrose clean, with no heel turn and a half assed main event match, that was under 10 minutes and was average quality that you could see every week on Raw.

But that's not enough. To safe themselves from being impaled by the fans, here comes our savior, SHEAMUS. The Fellanator.

He cashes in his Money in the Bank and give Reigns 2 Broque Kicks and becomes new WWE champ and is all of a sudden part of the Authority, EVENTHOUGH HE WAS LOOKING STUPID IN A MIDCARD MATCH EARLIER THAT EVENING.

Sheamus is not a believable WWE champ and he is an even worse choice as man of the company then Reigns ever could be.

Just 2 months ago, Vince said that the WWE should become more unpredictable. I think he already forgot that he ever said that. It's really time that they overthink their product. I hope they don't think about putting Sheamus in the main event of Wrestlemania, because that's not what 100000 people in Dallas want to see.

I could go on, how much the rest of the show sucked, but the Main Event pretty much buries everything.

SCREW YOU WWE

(tfw Cesaro is out for over 6 months. Being a WWE fan is suffering.)

And Vince wonders why he's both no longer anywhere near billionaire status and panicking over low ratings.

I say this since months. He needs to move from his chair and let Triple H take over.

I remember reading about how bad SS's booking was. What happened in the main event is good proof of it.

It was also bad for The Undertaker. The guy celebrates his 25th anniversary and they give him this poor match against the wyatts. Nothing against Bray, because i am a big fan of him. But this just wasn't good.

They should've rather put the Hell in a Cell match at that PPV.

The booking for Survivor Series (hell, the main roster altogether for the most part now that Rollins, Cena, and Cesaro are out) pales in comparison to that of NXT's TakeOvers. Even the most lackluster TO match would have some level of entertainment or sense of belonging.

It would be funny to see Sheamus be the champion at Wrestlemania...So Brock Lesnar, who will most likely win the royal rumble, can smash him to bits.

It dosen't fill the ranks though. And honestly, as cool as Lesnar is, i am sick and tired of him being brought in to fill Arenas. Establish new talent god damnit.

The only cool thing was them giving Strowman a Double Chokeslam through the table.

Dolph Ziggler heel turn, plz!

He and Miz both work far better as heels.

Then again, WWE sucks at creating babyfaces in general these days.

There's a way they can salvage this I feel:

Since Roman got screwed over once again and this is another semi-traditional Survivor Series screwjob, and a few weeks before on Raw, Roman said that he didn't want to be handed the belt, he could theoretically go after The Authority and maybe team up with Ambrose (Who I felt would fit this role better, but bare with me)

The main issue I see with The Authority is, aside from how long they've been around, the lack of foil. They're The Corporation of this generation, but no Stone Cold to go against them, no Undertaker to try and usurp power from them. Dean would have made a perfect foil, and Roman could do the job well, since he showed he wants nothing to do with The Authority giving him perks. Let it culminate in a Triple H Vs. Reigns match at WM 32.

The Corporation allowed for an even playing field full of weekly surprises.

The Authority are just a bunch of boring Sosuke Aizens who are no doubt one of the major reasons behind WWE's ratings-crash.

Exactly my point. The Corporation was the Heel Authority Stable done right. All The Authority does now is screw over whomever they don't like and no one stands up to them.

And when they buried Sting, that was the absolute last straw for me.

It's because Sting was loyal to WCW and was offerd a job at WWF at the time after Vince bought out WCW, but wasn't interested, and we all know how Vinnie Mac loves to screw over WCW brass when he can. Look at how WWF handled DDP and Dean Malenko, two of the best WCW had to offer, but Dean was barely used and DDP had that godawful angle with Undertaker. Even 14 years after the fact, Vince likes to rub it in everyone's face how he beat WCW and flaunts it whenever he can, and it shows with his booking.

Sting's loyalty to WCW is probably what made WWE bury him like a Crow-faced cat turd.

And Sting had actually refused to sign with WWE for so long because he feared that very thing.

Way to prove him right, WWE... and way to shoot yourselves in the collective foot even more.

Not once but twice: Once against the grand shovel himself Triple H and again with his mini-me Seth Rollins. The only decent part of the HHH match was the DX/NWO reunions, but this was a confrontation people wanted in the 90s, not 16 years later.

Sheamus actually won that title back in 2009.

Of course, that time was far more interesting since he was still new, and people found it refreshing in comparison to Cena.

But hey, at least he has a better mohawk now.

Sting is now not very believable in WWE.

They've turned him into a joke.

Sting dosen't want to be put over. He already paid his dues and has been called a legend for years. Nothing that the WWE has or will do to him will change that.

The only reason he is there is a large paycheck, Merchandise Money and a Hall of Fame Ring, because he still wants to live off these T-Shirt and Blu-Ray sales after he will retire, which will be very soon. So i am not really that mad about it.
