A Year Being A Brony/Fan of MLP

The time has finally arrived again and it is in December , where I finally decided to "join the herd" after all .........

During this year , so many things were changed for me since I join this fandom in terms of social and lifestyle . I wasn't realised about it until now , I finally had a time to tell about it here in this blog post .

So , let's get started .....

Social Changes

When I first being a brony , I was just like trying to hide everything about ponies especially from my friends ....... Also , during January 2015 , there's only a friend of mine who probably understands me ...... :/

Then , one day , another friend of mine unexpectedly explictly told all of my friends in my group that I had an interest in MLP ....... Everyone in the group just like going apesh*t and says to me .... :

"Dude , you watch MLP ? Hahahahaha ....... isn't that for kids ?"

[At this moment , I just felt like trying to act cool and explain to them what's this fandom all about. Since then , they respect my opinions about it as I respect them about anime fandom .......]

P.S : Not trying to bash the anime fans but most of my friends are into it ...... . I'm still looking for a way how do I enter the anime fandom without breaching it's limits ...... :/

As my life goes on , I didn't expect to see another person (which I don't know) who is also had interest in MLP ...... untill one day ......

When I was a newly joined student in a tuition class , I just randomly sat beside an unknown person since I was already late at that time . Then , when the class ends , it's break time ... I decided to check my messages on my WhatsApp ...... then this person unexpectedly sees my WhatsApp wallpaper image and says ...... :

"Hey , I know that girl ..... Isn't that Sunset Shimmer .... ?"

I was just like .......

"Dude , you watch that show too ? (MLP and EG)"

He said ,

"*sigh* Yeah bruh ............"

Since then , me and that person became best friends and keeps talking about it until now when I met him every week ......

P.S : He's adores Fluttershy most .....

Let's move on to the next part ......

Lifestyle Changes

My sleeping habits also have changed since I joined this fandom ..... Since Season 5 airs , I always tried to stay awake until 1AM every week for the new episodes ..... (blame the f*ing timezones )
I also sometimes when I at the shopping complexes with my parents , I always secretly trying to sneak into MLP aisle and also Toy's R Us just to look all the MLP stuffs .... (no intention to buy any of them)

Addition : Personal Story and Thoughts About This Fandom

The "real" reason why I intended to join this fandom is to research about this fandom and how does it influenced all over the world . When I go deeper and deeper (this includes MLP YTP's and others) , I realised that I couldn't go back and got hooked with it ......

At one moment I said to myself :

"Is all of the MLP:FiM stuffs stops here ? I meant it's kinda like there's nothing big deal about it"

- My honest words at that time .... No sh*t sherlock ..... :okiedokielokie:

Then , one day I just came across a video titled "Bronies React : Equestria Girls" and "Bronies React : Rainbow Rocks"

I was like :

"What's with all of these Equestria Girls stuffs here ? Is it a new MLP thing ? When did this thing happened ? How , Why , Who .............." (you got the point)

Seeing EG and MLP:FiM are kinda almost canon (but it doesn't) , my interest in MLP:FiM are increased back ever since I followed Equestria Girls series ..... xD

This fandom also had introduced me to a number of talented fan artists who were involved in the fan-related stuffs for MLP to name a few :

- The Living Tombstone
- Aviators
- StormXF3 (for MLP IRL series)
- mlp Lights™
And many more ..... Damn , there's so many of them .....

One thing that I loved most about MLP is the music ........ I mean it's like so freaking catchy and couldn't get over with it .....
