Retro's Day Out

Yeah, so MCM Birmingham was on this day. It was most excellent. I went with fellow YouTuber and friend ColonelKFC as well as PumPegg. The three of us tried out replica swords, Hershey bars on a stick, steampunk hats, 20% Cooler T-Shirts and brought a crap ton of merchandise because it's a Comic Con, so why not?

On that day, I met William Russell, the actor who played Ian Chesterton in the first 3 years of Doctor Who, and got the first ever DW story signed by him, Anneke Wills who played Polly in 1966 and 1967, and got The Tenth Planet, William Hartnell's final story, signed by her, Deborah Watling who played Victoria Waterfield in 1967 and 1968 and got The Tomb of The Cybermen signed by her and last but not least, I met Wendy Padbury, and got The War Games, Patrick Troughton's final story and the last DW story of the 1960's signed by her.

At the end of it all, we went to Five Guys. Seriously, I need to go back there, that place's food is lush. Imagine a McDonald's burger that doesn't have a bunch of big fillings in the middle that cause it to be all wonky and fries that taste flawless with milkshakes that make it seem as though you tasted the rainbow, yeah that's Five Guys.

There really isn't that much to document when you're there for only one day, but hey-ho. I had a good time and that's all that matters.
