The job I have now is fine. But it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life. What I've always wanted to do is work for myself and entertain others. I want to channel my love for people in general into ways to improve lives, including being a good friend and someone people feel they can turn to if they have no one else. I've spent the past three years since becoming a brony living in solitude and wishing I had the motivation to do these things. I avoided brony communities because I didn't feel like a part of them, just like every other group I've been in, be it for school or work.

Now I'm here, and I see what I've been missing. This community is great, and it's growing every day. MLP is a part of me now, and it's not going away anytime soon. I need to start here, with people who understand my passion, before I fling myself onto the Internet at large where few people even see it.

So, here's a list of things I like to do, or want to start doing.

Streaming/recording gameplay. Reviewing games, especially some that people may not know about or consider, including independent developers.

Digital art and design. I've enjoyed drawing ponies, and want to continue improving my skills there. Drawing for other people would be amazing. I already have two designs available on t-shirts, with many more ideas and concepts to develop.

Making music. So far I'm little more than a dabbler, but I feel I am capable of making some good music with practice. Maybe even sing one day, or do voice work.

Writing stories. Be it fanfiction or something original, I want to continue telling stories that everyone can enjoy.

Writing/designing games. Programming isn't my thing, but I have an endless list of game ideas, concepts, stories, and even prototypes that I know can be amazing. I can do it myself with the help of tools like RPG Maker, Inform 7, GameMaker, and I could also work with others to make something even greater.

Being a friend to all. Simply joining this forum has helped me with this a lot. I love being able to improve someone's mood, even by a little, in any way I can. I also pride myself on being a good listener and someone to turn to when all else fails. I'm definitely no expert in all facets of life, but I'd like to be known as someone people can trust to give well-intended advice with no judgment.

I know this is a lot of stuff, and one doesn't simply do everything. But many of these are things that I can and should be doing on a daily basis. The hardest part is motivation. That's where this community comes in. Sharing my work and receiving feedback, positive and negative, will be a huge motivator and push me to continue doing better. Poniverse itself has just about everything I need to properly share and network and build that reputation. Opportunities abound for collaboration and interaction with other creators.

So here I go! Let's consider this my New Year's Resolution. That is, to be the best brony I can be and build the foundation for my future as an independent content creator on the wilds of the Internet. Ooh, yeah!
