Parents should accept their children for who they are. Your friends love you for who you are, not what you are. We don't think being gay is a sin, mental disorder, nor anything dysfunctional. You can talk to us when you're upset man, and we're here for ya. Your parents are wrong to shun you so badly, they need some personal space to think about it.

They can throw the bible all they want, it won't change you. Any more of that shit they give you is fruitless. 

If they don't accept you, that is their problem. not yours. 

This is such a shame to hear..It is pretty clear that they don't understand and don't want to understand, but what they think, in this particular instance, it doesn't matter. Diamond, I feel deeply sorry for you. I have been thinking about how everything has been going on in your life lately. I just came to see your other entries, an I have to say, I almost shed a tear when I read your post. Those parents of yours aren't being very good ones to you. A true parent would always accept you for who you are, and even if they do kind of disagree, then they should torment you with bible verses. I don't mind people practicing their religion, as long as they don't use it as a weapon and an excuse to persecute people like you. I do hope things turn out well for you soon.
