summer tells stories #1

Summer Breeze

hey everyone!

I had this idea for a while to start a blog about my life, and tell stories about the things that happen to me, recent things and childhood memories. They're gonna be happy stories! My life is quite weird, I'm quite quirky, and nowadays so many sad things seem to be happening everywhere that I thought it would be nice to tell fun things that might make someone smile :)

so, here we go, this will be my first story, an old one.
this is the story of how I learned not to shake a bottle of soda.
when I was about eight years old, we were on holliday in france. me and my mom were sitting outside, in front of our tent and I was drinking something (Sprite if I remember correctly) and it was really good. I finished my glass and wanted more but the bottle was empty so my mom told me to get a new one and open it myself, she was too busy reading to help me.
so I did, I walked to the cooler and got the new bottle, but then the tricky part came: unscrewing the cap. because it was a new bottle it was really hard to unscrew it, I tried a lot of different ways, shaking the bottle a lot in the process, and eventually I figured if I sat down and held the bottle between my knees then I could use two hands to unscrew it! so I finally managed to open it but then...

*FWOES*

because it was shaken up so much, it all spewed out of the bottle, straight into little summers face. it scared me so I started to cry, my mom started to laugh. I can't blame her, it must have looked incredibly funny but back then I thought otherwise. I cried even harder because she laughed and she told me that one day I could laugh about it too, but inbetween the crying I told her that I would never laugh about it! but, turns out, I'm wrong, I can laugh about it a lot now XD
