Consequence

Consequence. The measure of whether an action is good or not.

But, what of the scope of the consequence. Eating icecream all day might feel good initially, but what will it feel like in the long run?

Not only that, how will it effect those around me?

Consequence is empirical. But if its limited in scope and not thought of beyond the self and into the future, how can you have the best understanding of your actions?

Well if you spend all day eating ice cream there might not be enough for everyone.

Lol.

Its more like, icecream causes diabetes because of the sugar, which causes weight gain and vascular problems and brain damage increases over time. Depends on moderation or not,but its more likely to develop into a bad habit because if your body sin't getting enough vitamins an dminerals from it it tells you to eat more then you have more of it because it lacks sufficient quantity of stuff. Even onions have the same amount of calcium for instance, and normal milk has 7.5 times more calcium than some kinds of icecream. Then because you are unhealthy and have an oxidating brain from diabetes and sugar, and veins and stuff, there is increased arthritis and heart disease and decreased oxygen to the brain. If a brain is poor functioning enough it promotes moodiness and sugar crashes can cause (increase the chance of) depression. This would tax a family because of being too unhealthy and frustrated and incapable due to arthritis and weight, causing more instability in the family. Which increases chance for toxic behavior, poor life choices, falling for cult-like mentalities because it feels good which relieves some of the increased stress from the unhealthiness (and stress can be biological from diet also, oxidation in the brain can be due to stress or diet for instance, both decrease oxygen to it).
