Yeah, I agree.  Above all, I just don't want the surprises spoiled.  But moreover, I've never really understood how or why leaks happen.  I mean, how hard is it for the creators to keep their sh*t under lock and key?  Pretty hard, apparently, but I just don't understand why.  Just...like...don't put it online....or something?  It seems like the only way for leaks to occur is if it's an inside job.  I don't know.  I guess it's all a lot more complicated and difficult to control than I am giving it credit for, but it just seems to me like it should be really simple.  I have never, and will never, look at anything until it's officially released.

I can understand the movie thing, considering it was made with purpose of making money at the box office so yeah i don't like it.

But when it comes to the leak of the show, i really couldn't care less. I always watch the show on stream and germany and other countries outside of the united states don't get the hub, so it dosen't affect it eitherway and i think it would be kinda insulting to judge people for looking at these leaks to be honest.

As many "hands" and viewings a show must go through between finishing and airing for the public it is not all the surprising. People get busy, careless or sneaky and copies of it end up in places they were not intended. Leaks are crummy, but they are everywhere, and the largest companies and studios cannot stop them. My sister and her boyfriend used to get leaked films on DVDs through a group of friends a month or two in advance in some cases... and although she is no longer part of that, I am sure many of them still are. I also know of at least one person who is already claiming to either have a copy or be able to acquire a copy of The Last Jedi... and you know that should be on royal lock down. As for the show, I don't think many see it as badly since most of us watch it for "free" on our TVs even when doing it legally.. in exchange you are just expected to see some ads. It has a few more hurdles to jump for some people with station availability, and airing times and dates where I can at least understand some of it.
