No Hasbro Comic-Con Exclusives?

Every year, by this time, Hasbro has announced most of its Comic-Con exclusive line up. Last year, Bronies were disappointed in a lack of Comic-Con exclusives.  But this year, something seems odd.  Hasbro has yet to announce a single Comic-Con Exclusive.  There are only two logical conclusions I can come up with.

1) Hasbro is biding its time to announce a single Comic-Con exclusive.  This is the scenario I'm hoping for: Hasbro is simply waiting till next month to talk about its 2018 Comic-Con exclusives.  Something related to Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers, Magic the Gathering,  Rumor has it that there will be a Vintage COllection of Star Wars Toys at Comic-Con http://www.jeditemplearchives.com/2018-02-17-will-vintage-collection-exclusive-sdcc-year/

2) Hasbro will not sell exclusives at Comic-Con.  This is the scenario I'm thinking may come true, that for the first time, Hasbro will not sell any exclusive toys at Comic-Con.  It doesn't make sense.  But then again, they may be battered by the recent Chapter 7 Bankruptcy of Toys R Us this year.  Worse case scenario is that they skip Comic-Con this year(Which means, no MLP Panel)

What's your thoughts?  Is Hasbro hiding something good?  Or is it lights out for Hasbro this year?

That's kinda concerning

Unfortunately I have a strong feeling that the latter may be true, that Hasbro may not release any Comic-con exclusives this year, though I'm not sure if they would pull out of the con entirely. (If they did that would be even worse

Hasbro has seen the worst possible thing happen with the end of Toys R Us, and that probably has them wanting to conserve their money for rainy day funds and such

I noticed that Hasbro hasn’t released any new MLP toys since the movie. You think they would with the new season and new characters but it could have something to do with Toys R US  shutting its doors.
