@Sherbert Music-Guard I use a pan on the stove to boil water, though my mom boils water in her little tea kettle to make her tea, but I don't normally drink warm tea like that

My mom has one of those too! But she uses her normal stove kettle instead because she thinks it heats up faster

Yeah, well due to the electricity differences between Europe and the US (Europe tending to use 220v when US uses 140v)

It's probably faster to boil a kettle here than in the USA

I use a stove to boil the water, it's not my choice but that's what my parents do.

Depends on what I’m making.

If it’s tea, I put a mug of water in the microwave.

If it’s coffee, the coffee machine boils the water.

And for food like noodles or eggs, I use a pot on the stove.

For some of my instant soups, I boil water in the microwave and pour that into the bowl with the noodles and broth mix.

I have a Mr. Coffee. For tea, I boil a pot on the stove for a large thermos or put a mug o water in the microwave.
