why i hate rarity

hi guys, this is my first blog, i'm really nervous, but im trying a new thing which a good thing for me. so, for a first blog, what better title i would choose than, oh wait what was it i don't remember......oh yeah. WHY I HATE RARITY!!! that's right, she sucks horribly, she should not be able to be a friend to the mane six at all. all she is is just plain tidy, and rude. remember when i said that:mlp_smug:. i dont know what to say in a paragraph so i'm just doing a list of things of WHY.

 

1. she has no respect, once oh ever

2. she cares about her self, mostly:mlp_huh:

3. she is a jerk to her own sister

4.she does not like to get dirty

5. finally, shes a drama queen

 

whoop dee doop, there it is. that is why i hate her sooo badly. if you fans say that i'm going to die from getting beaten to apples by the "devil" herself, buckets me then i'm going to torturous.

(disclaimer: im sorry if i was rude on all of that, i do not know if im being rude or not, if i was, comment and bro hoof down below.(also comment if you hate her as well)

Good to see you're starting a blog! :) I can't say I agree on this topic at all, though! :please:

About not liking to get dirty, I don't see why that would be a reason to hate a character. :confused: Of course, it can sometimes be taken to extremes, but that's one of the ways I really understand Rarity. As for her being a drama queen at times, that's definitely true. But based on that, we can see how differently people view characters. I've seen Rarity being criticized for that before, but for me, it's one of the things I love the most about her! :laugh:

Funny to see a user named DEFENDER hating on something not even a month after joining this site. :P I'll consider the possibility of this being a satire, but giving it the benefit of the doubt...

What's wrong with that? She likes to be clean? How scandalous? :mlp_confused: Onto the list of reasons...

Rarity does indeed have respect, she respects her friends all the time by making them dresses and praising them for their venerable actions. Her egotism and occasional self-centered behavior are just her character flaws and it's almost always played for laughs. Both Sisterhooves Social and Forever Filly showed that Rarity does in fact love Sweetie Belle and is not aware of some of her actions annoying her. Not liking to get dirty...Tacodidra already refuted that well enough, and it just goes back to my refuting of "She is just plain tidy" as a reason to hate a character. Finally, being a drama queen...that not only goes back to my point about character flaws, but it's also a character flaw that Rarity is self-aware of as shown in Lesson Zero. 

I don't think you have to worry about this offending anyone sound of mind, we're all secure in our love of Rarity here. Do know though that we're also secure in our right to respectfully rebut your arguments. :mlp_grin:

Oh, I must disagree with this. Respectfully, of course. :adorkable:

Rarity isn't my favorite pony, but I still enjoy her in the show.

On #3, sure, Rarity was mean to her sister a couple of times. However, she regretted it and made things right with Sweetie Belle (like in Sisterhooves Social).. Rarity even tried a bit too hard to strengthen their relationship in Forever Filly.

#5, who doesn't love Rarity being a drama queen? :grin:
