Hey.  Y'know what really grinds my gears?  When there's a movie scene in the trailer but it's not in the actual movie.  The F*CK, man?!  Obviously I realize that they make the trailer before the final cut of the movie is done, and then they make some revisions and some scene gets cut from the final movie.  That's bullsh*t, dude.  There have been a number of times over the years when I saw a scene in a trailer that looked cool, and then I waited for it in the movie, and it wasn't there!  That's false advertising, and it pisses me off.

And not only that, but often times the take that they use for a trailer isn't the same take that they used in the final cut of the movie.  For example, I remember seeing the trailer for LOTR: The Two Towers and really loving the way Gandalf said, "I return to you now at the turn of the tide."  But in the movie, the way he said that line was a little different.  It wasn't quite as epic.  Same words, but they used a different take.  Same exact thing happened in the scene in Man of Steel when Jor-El's wife says that the people of Earth will kill Kal, and Jor says, "How?  He'll be a god to them."  The way he said that sounded so awesome in the trailer, but they used a different take in the movie, and that one didn't sound nearly as good.  I know it's a stupid thing to get pissed off about, but I just really hate when things aren't as advertised.  If it's in the trailer, it should be in the movie.  Period.  They should finalize the cut of the movie before making the trailer.  I'm patient--I don't care.

Of course, that would mean that companies would have to wait longer to get the advertising out, which means they wouldn't be able to get it out way ahead of the movie and sell tons of crappy merch before the movie's even aired, so no company will ever consider it.  Piece a sh*t.
