Nice! 

Sherbet Land...is that a zone in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3?  ...It is!  I just switched on my 3DS for a look in the Virtual Console, and sure enough:  the optional ice world in the upper-left corner of the map is indeed called Sherbet Land!  Coincidence?
