Twilight is turning into an Alicorn. Mane6 is, for all intents and purposes, disbanded. And now there is a show that is supposed to be a spinoff of MLP in the making.

Okay well first off, lets also list the good news before I give my unbridled opinion. The good news is, there is a song confirmed for season finale. Season 4 is confirmed and there is supposedly 26 episodes green lit for it. New plushies are being mass produced by Hasbro that don't suck. And Faust offered to help out the Mane6 dev team create OC's.

I am just going to say this right now, I saw the Alicorn thing coming a mile away. Some say it is a marketing ploy by Hasbro to make more money. I say, from a writer's standpoint, it was not only inevitable, but it is an event that opens up many possibilities. Now I know what you are all thinking, "but Bronynon, Alicorns are OP and now Twily will lose her friends and she wont be the same and and and-" Just stop it right there, okay? I have spent a lot of time watching anime, and in most every Shonen, at some point the main character gains the ability to transform into a form that is way over powered. Now by that logic, the show is going to be amazingly epic. Because every anime that I have seen that has that in it, is freaking awesome. So on that I don't understand why you are all going coocoo for coacoa puffs.

What happened to the Mane6 was terrible. They put in years of hard work, blood, sweat and tears. But this isn't the first time this has happened. As I have said, I spend a lot of time in the anime side of the fandom. I watched a similar thing happen to a group who was trying to create a nonprofit Naruto MMO. It was devastating then, and it is also devastating now. But what I am saying is, from a corporate standpoint, I understand why they did it. We (bronies) have been using their content for free. In many cases we have been pirating a lot of their materials. Even if we don't gain profit from it, they don't gain profit from the pirates either. But also they can't let things like what the mane6 are doing happen, because it looks like they are a company that allows others to walk all over them. So they had to draw the line in the sand somewhere, even if it was at the cost of an epic nonprofit game.

Which brings me to my closing statement, the Equestria Girls rumor, which has been reported confirmed. A show spinoff with the main six as humans in the human world. Why are you guys going luny over this? This is a good thing. Not only will we still have the next season of MLP, we will also have a new show to watch with ponies (humans? Anthros?). We get another show to obsess over. So why is there a large side of the fandom bitching and moaning over how, "this is a drastic change" and that, "this is the end of the fandom"? You guys realize that Hasbro owes us nothing, in fact in many cases we owe Hasbro, right? Has this entire fandom succumbed to whining, and incessant pleading? You guys sound like the Coheed and Cambria fandom. They bitch and complain a lot like you guys do, because no one can be satisfied, and everyone has to speak their shitty ass opinions out loud. So I would like to close with this. Those in the fandom who are bitching and moaning are now labeled, "groanies". Stop it groanies, you are the reason why no one likes this fandom, other then the fans.
