Hot to touch

So today i got my first injury on a scooter.--ok since i was 16 but bear with me. So i was dismissed from my 2 hour math class and i had the scooter. The math building is on the top of a very steep hill and if you walk up it you feel like keeling from exhaust. Well i was at the top of the hill and going down isnt much better since you might lose your footing and fall forward. So i came to the logical conclusion that going down on a sketchy razor scooter would be better.

Good news is that i did not fall. i am awesome at scootering and such. Now lets get to the part were i injured myself. Since i was going down hill i knew i had to use the metal scoop brake alot. When i eventually got down to the bottom i put the side of my hand on the metal brake. BIG MISTAKE! apparently a hard rubber wheel against metal cause friction and friction results in heat. I burned my hand pretty bad and had no medical attention. Did it hurt? yes but i powered through the pain because i am a man.

I had a scooter back when I was 15. I leaned too much when I was turning, and the scooter ended up hitting the ground... While I was turning... At 30mph.

I jumped off of the scooter, and ran as fast as I could. After running about 10 meters, I was able to gain control and stop. I never even lost my balance.

I don't get injured too often. I don't go outside often enough for that to happen. :)
