I have had a few ideas for fanfics and have due to procrastination and other factors not really put much effort into writing them down. Recently though I came up with a fanfic idea that is way too good to delay or pass up. For the past several months I have a nasty cockroach problem thanks to these inconsiderate neighbors that live like pigs, so I had a random thought in my head about a week ago and it is what if Rarity got cockroaches? We know how clean Rarity is so she is probably the least likely pony to get them which just makes it all the more hilarious by adding a nice dose of irony to the mix.

 

Since I am fairly busy I won't be able to churn out a chapter every week like some authors are able to do but since I am going on vacation next week I hope to get at least 2 maybe even 3 chapters ready to post on fimfiction during that time. I just finished writing a rough draft of chapter 1 and while I think I have a fairly solid beginning which is one of the things I have the most trouble with as a writer I do wonder if I dragged things out too much in chapter 1. I was originally going to have Rarity and the other mane 6 meet the new neighbors in it but while buildup is important I don't want the story to be derailed by too many irrelevant details.

 

While my grammar and spelling is respectable my punctuation isn't exactly perfect and since I have more experience writing in script format writing in novel/story format takes some getting used to. So if anyone would be willing to help check for errors and maybe give some general thoughts or suggestions that would be much appreciated.
