Oh, damn. That must really suck, huh? Still, look on the bright side. Life's not over. You can still move forward. Identify your weaknesses and work on them. You say you like to help people, right? Help yourself, too. And don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Failure can be a learning experience. Take advantage of it, and put a positive spin to it. Stay strong, my good man.

That you even care is a good start. Well, failure is sorta a natural process of learning. It's something I had to come to terms with myself. What you are presented with is another opportunity to get the material down if you look at it like that. It really depends on what your goals are.

I talked with an 11 year old recent that was failing the 6th grade. I asked him if he thought the subject material was boring. Yep. I asked him if he would rather imagine something and the make it if he had the rescources. Yep. I asked him how long he could hold a picture in his mind. 5 minutes. I asked him if it was a still picture or a moving picture. Still picture. I said let me guess, you have few friends and spend many weekends alone and would like to make more friends but there's a part of you that would rather be alone in the first place. Uh, exactly. He says. So as far as i can see, the only problem this poor kid has was that school was not leaving anything to the imagination in which he was real good with.
I don't think you're a loser or an idiot. I think you haven't chosen the reason's as to why you need to learn somethings. So you like science or was it just an easy subject? IF you liked science, then pursue subjects more orientated and focused around science so that you learn science even better then before and then that way you could turn your grades around.
I had to get my g.e.d. cause i dropped out of high school and breezed through the online programs cause i was able to work whenever i wished instead of forcing the daily hours on me. I also was motivated becuase i wanted to get into IT Tech and take an IT program. On top of that i also had to have certain grade level in english to at even be accepted.
So no, analyze how you've been operating or functioning so that you can see what was working and what wasn't. I also failed grade three and nearly grade five. but there's no need to get into why at this time. *brohoof*
