WTFPL and licenses. Also open source.

So, never posted a blog before.

Although I have never written any code that is generally useful, I am a strong advocate of open source.

Although technology needs to be proprietary in some very specific circumstances, generally something that is free should also be open.

The general exception to this is websites. It is also a hot topic of which is the best license to go with, GPL, GNU, MIT. All of those limit freedom, although most of the time (sponsorships, etc.) you may want to use one of the former. However, I don't think that simple code (let's use the MLPF Firefox extension I am doing for example) should have such restrictions. As such, I hope to license it under "WTFPL" (if you could even call it a license) for very simple use on other IPS forums.

Were I ever to make a game, or other program; I would encourage others to "hack" or modify it. With the sole exception of multiplayer, and even multiplayer in some cases.. A good example of this is The Elder Scrolls.

I agree with you. I believe a lot of software that isn't 'free software' should be. However I won't discontinue use of a software if it isn't foss.

I think one of the things that should really be exempt from being foss would be video games or other programs SOLELY for entertainment purposes.

Scrap that I forgot what I was talking about. I think foss games are good but I don't mind it as much when they aren't as opposed to other software (which I don't really mind at all but that's a different story). Like with Valve games, a very small amount of it is open source, but the engine is designed in a way that allows people to make their own mods of the game and skins etc and the company is nice enough to give out their own dev tools (hammer, source film maker, etc) but it doesn't really bother me if a game company doesn't do this unless the game had a lot of potential for mods. Well I think I went off topic enough.

Actually, I agree. In some cases with Indie Games, it is very useful to share some code (AI, for example).

I don't mind the hacking of multiplayer games, as long as everyone gets the hack.

I suppose a good solution would be to give hackers dedicated lobbies, as some games have done.
