Let's appreciate things (a how-to created by personal experiences)
Do you want to appreciate things a little more? A lot more?
There's a great way to do this that no one even thinks about! Here's how:
Go for a walk this evening/morning and just experience everything. Don't apply any sort of description to it and certainly don't say anything about any of it, just experience it.
Listen to the sounds, see the sights and feel the elements and apply no description to any of it.
Experience it.
I swear that you will appreciate it a lot more than you ever had before. You can even apply this method to other "mundane" things like playing video games or eating dinner; there's even room for you to utilize this with the forums!
Give me some feedback after you've gotten back from your walk.
