blog-0625558001389501566.pngSo. This is it. The end. I made it home in southern Missouri. My first thespian conference is done, and suddenly... I feel as though I know more about myself and about my troupe. Let's dive in.

I woke up at 8 this morning, did my usual routine and packed. I had this weird sense that I'm leaving behind something I will always remember. Anyways, I finished packing my bag and took it to the statler ballroom and got it tagged for pick up later in the day. Next I went and hung out with a few people from my troupe. We went back to Empire from the first night and got some food. After we checked out some of the shops. After about two hours of knocking around we parted ways, me to go help load the bus and the group to go see the one act. After the bus was loaded we all gathered for the "Final Event". Overall it was kind of boring, just awards for things we weren't allowed to compete in because we always win (Wow that sounded really prissy, didn't mean it that way.) And some wonderful singers as well as staged "Improv" (I quote it because it was staged so it wasnt really improv). After the main event we headed straight for the bus. Didn't even have time to say bye to Greg or April (Greg is one of the friends I mentioned and April is the cute girl I've been talking about).

Once we loaded up we were off, It was basically a 5 hour drive back fro St.Louis and in a cold hard school bus. That was fun... not. For the most part I listened to music, texted April, and talked to some of the group I went out with earlier in the day. Once people started falling asleep to pass the time I pulled out my laptop, threw on some tunes and wrote the second episode of "CrossFire" I have to run it by Brad seeing as he is the lead writer. I feel as though it was my best piece yet. after about the half way point we stopped at a gas station for a bathroom break and snack run. The rest of the ride was pretty uneventful. So here I am. At home. Once again.

So here is the part where I express my thoughts on this new experience and kind of gush some emotions for a bit. Ready?

Over all I had a wonderful time. I met so many awesome and kind people who kind of brought me out of my socially awkward shell. I talked to more people in the three days here than I do in a normal month probably, and you know it was great! I gave up on my pickyness towards food and tried something new every meal. I made some wonderful life long friends and even rekindled past friendships. Over all I feel fantastic after meeting such wonderful people. Especially April. We plan to hang out sometime in the near future as we are only about a 45 min drive from each other. Greg will be more of a challenge since he is more like a 3.5 hour drive away. Needless to say though. I'm already counting down the days until Bronycon in August and the next Thespians Conference in Kansas City next January.

So without further ado. I end this little series of my first ever State Thespians Conference. I will leave you with my final sights of St.Louis and possibly some other pics assuming the people in them are fine with it. So I will see you when something eventful enough to blog about happens. Until then stay YOU.

Side note I ended up having to screen cap them on my phone so sorry for black bars, also I wont upload all the pics from the trip just 4. So enjoy the ones Below!

So thank you for who ever drove me to start writing these things because if it wasnt for you. I would have never met them.
