I get what you're saying, but I think there are definitely things that are just absolutely not normal things to do.

But my point is that we shouldn't call those things normal or abonormal but simply call them harmless or harmful depending on exactly what it is.

Hmmm, I suppose that's true.

There is "normal", only its not as small and narrow as some people want normal to be hence the normal they want does not exist. :P

Its similar to how we react to peoples actions if they perform an action that we consider to be either good or bad depending on how we are bought up in our society.

There is no normal. That is correct. Allow me to break it down the way I see it;

There are 3 main divisions of society; The Culture, The Sub-Culture, and The Anti-Culture.

The Culture is what public sees as normal. This is because these dull dull people are sadly the majority.

All non-religious-non-Cult Fandoms fall under the Sub-Culture, as well as most introverted people. We are seen as weird for not following the Culture. This is what makes us unique, interesting people.

The Anti-culture encompasses gangs, thugs, criminals and extremists. Often dangerous, the Anti-Culture is completely shunned from society.

This is just how I see it though.

I think the only time you have the right call something abnormal(pending the obvious like having a gaping hole in your chest or puking blood) is if the it's harmful.
