The best tip I think I can give you is not to take it too seriously. Don't put making friends on the top of your priority list. It's really something that just comes naturally and I think trying too hard to be friends with people just results in being uncomfortable and struggling to find things to talk about.

But I would encourage you to be as vocal about your thoughts and opinions as you can be. Just jump into conversations if you find an opening and it's something you'd like to talk about.

And most importantly keep doing what you like to do.

I just do what I want and talk with people who seem as crazy as I am. It works out pretty good.
