Hi everyone, it's Rocky. I'm Rocky in case there's any confusion. I'm posting to let you know that I'm interested in the Reader position. I like to read some books or magazines but I love reading fanfics and crossover fanfics online and I also like writing stories or fanfics as well. I've wrote one fanfic for Halloween on the forums and I'm in the middle of writing another one here on the forums also which I will continue with. I've also done some live readings of scary stories on Discord too and plan to do more in the future and I would be happy to read anything to the lovelies here on MLP Forums. I would love the position to read and share stories that either I have wrote or found. Thank you for listening and I look forward to hearing your decision, thank you.

Just a quick story to pass the time until my next regular posting. This one was rather cute, and I do hope you enjoy it. Princess Celestia was sure that the day was going to be great. The Sun shone bright in the sky, the birds were singing, and nothing could possibly go wrong. That was, until she received some rather grim news concerning her sister. She thought she'd been clear enough about things last time. Princess Luna Is Dead Again.mp3

Hello everyone. My name is Longhaul and this is my formal post of interest in the Reader position. Some of you may know me from the forums, or maybe you’ve read one of the few stories I’ve written. I love writing and reading, having done some live readings on a few Discord servers, and my taste in books ranges to the biographical, non-fiction, essay, and fan fiction (of course). I don’t much like talking about myself, but I do love reading, and some have said I have a very nice voice, which suits me well because at one point I wanted to get into radio (I didn’t, but I did try a few times). I’ve already posted some samples of my reading here in this club, and I welcome you to check them out. My plan is to do at least one story a week, maybe a main story and a short story if time permits. I really have nothing more to add besides thank you for your consideration, and I am looking forward to whatever decision is made.

Hello, everypony! I'm ExplosionMare, the mare with an explosion of ideas! It's been a while since I've been involved in any sort of fanfiction but I've always appreciated people who can take pre-existing characters and make their stories better, or at least make them entertaining in a new way. I also appreciate those who build their original characters in a pre-existing universe, like I used to do with my OCs. I also just love reading in general. One of my favorite places to visit is the bookstore and I'm a firm believer that reading is one of the most important things a person can ever learn to do. It keeps us informed and creative, two of the most important things we can be. Though I consider myself "retired" from writing fanfiction myself since I cancelled my big fanfic project and reduced it to a synopsis, there's one thing I am still interested in doing if it's allowed here: proofreading. I used to proofread here and there for various writers on deviantart and FimFiction and it was always a joy to help someone fix up little things in their stories to better portray their themes. If that's something I could do here, I'd love to give that a try again!

Hello everyone! My name is Emerald Heart and I have been on the Forums for a while now. I love reading in all its' forms, whether you are an avid comic book reader or more into a thick book. I have always believed that anything with a plot is a story. It doesn't matter whether it has pictures or is a simple fanfiction. Reading is a wonderful experience. I remember one time when I was younger I got in trouble for reading past my bedtime. The reason I am applying for this position is because I want to share that same, magical feeling with everyone else. When you open a story and feel like you are transported to another universe. Like you are feeling what these characters are feeling; the love, the pain, the loss. I am good at working as part of a team and am not afraid to ask questions when I feel lost. I enjoy a vast majority of genres which include fantasy, mystery, romance, mythology, paranormal and horror. I just finished reading 'Carrie' by Steven King and I loved it! However, my favorite book series is 'The School for Good and Evil' by Soman Chainani. I highly recommend it. One of my favorite activities is getting inspired by others' writing and incorporating it into new ideas for new stories of my own. Right now I mainly write fanfiction that is mostly romance-based. I do hope to publish a real book someday.

Hello! You can call me Avery. I’ve always believed that stories are more than just words on a page — they’re pieces of a person, quietly offered. Whether I’m reading or writing, I approach each story with care, reflection, and a sense of quiet respect. What drew me to the reader staff role is the opportunity to help spotlight voices — whether by reading someone’s work aloud, crafting it into something meaningful, or simply sharing it in a way that makes others feel seen. I’m not here to steal the spotlight, but to hold it steady for those who have something to say. I value the quiet kind of storytelling — the kind that doesn’t shout, but lingers. The kind that makes you feel like someone listened. Whether it’s reading someone’s story aloud like a soft radio wave or helping shape a piece into something ready to be shared — I’d be honored to be part of that process. My Style as a Reader & Writer: My style leans toward the reflective and intimate — I’m drawn to stories with emotional depth, quiet power, and subtle meaning. Whether I’m reading aloud or shaping someone’s words into written form, I aim to carry the tone of the story gently, without overpowering it. I prefer to listen before I speak, and when I do contribute, it’s with intention. There’s a quiet rhythm in the way I read — calm, grounded, but emotionally present. My writing often weaves symbolism, emotion, and stillness together, offering space for others to feel seen. I don’t rush — I believe every story deserves to be held with care. Genres I Gravitate Toward: I’m most drawn to stories that blend emotional depth with subtle symbolism — often found in genres like psychological drama, character-driven fiction, reflective fiction, poetic realism, and nonfiction documentary-inspired narratives. I have a deep appreciation for tales of identity, loyalty, inner conflict, and silent resilience. Whether the setting is grounded in reality or touches the surreal, I look for meaning beneath the surface — stories that whisper, ache, or carry the weight of unspoken things. I’m especially moved by narratives that explore belonging, personal codes, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.
