What is roleplaying?

Roleplaying is when a group of people assume characters to enact a story. Here on MlpForums, roleplaying is done through text, each person that is apart of the story adding a bit more to it with each post. Generally the basic premise is agreed to as a group, though the general plot may meander as the story unfolds, or it may be pre-set at the start.
