Unable to edit previous tracks

Well, I decided to add some lines in the description of my previous tracks, but I couldn't find any edit button.

Also, when I click "Account —> Setting" the Bio field is empty somehow while it's not emty in "Your Profile" page.

I'm confused and don't know what's happening.

For the editing, go to account---—>Tracks, then choose the song and it should bring up a field. Change the stuff you wanna change and then choose save changes

As for the second part, mine is like that when I first go there but if I wait it appears. You can try making changes to it and save em to see if they go through, too. Also helps to know what browser you use and whether or not you`ve cleared your cache and cookies or are using private browsing  :fluttershy:

Exactly. There is only the last uploaded song I can see and nothing else.

I use Google Chrome and yes, I did clear cache and cookies once. Nope for private browsing. I logged in using Firefox too, same results.  :sunny:

I borrowed a laptop to try it. I disabled all extensions and add-on in laptop's Google Chrome, logged in to the site and got the same issues I wrote at the beginning of this topic.

But I have a huge guess why this is happening. The thing is, I registered a Pony.fm account long ago on the 24th of May 2013 and I had no idea it is a part of Poniverse.net back then. I made a Poniverse account on the 9th of August 2015 and when I logged in it my Pony.fm account's password was replaced by Ponyverse.net's one. So now I have the same password for Poniverse.net, MLPforums.com and Pony.fm and changing the password will overwrite other passwords as well.

As if my old profile info was rewritten or replaced by the new record with the same name.

Could it be the reason of my issues?

That looks like exactly what happened - you somehow ended up with two Pony.fm accounts that were both named Electron. Thanks for providing all that info - it helped a lot.

I found two accounts:

  • https://pony.fm/electron/content <- this one, which was created on May 24, 2013 and has several tracks published in 2014 and one published on August 9, 2015
    • This looks like your original account and there's no Poniverse account tied to it.
  • the account that published this track
    • This had your current Poniverse account tied to it, but because it has the same username as your original account, its profile was inaccessible.

I just discovered the bug in Pony.fm's integration with Poniverse which created that second account on Pony.fm, and I'm going to get that fixed.

In the meantime, I re-linked your original Pony.fm account to your Poniverse account and moved all of the new account's data to your original one. Log out of Pony.fm and log in again, and you should have access to everything again!

Now I can see all my tracks in Your Profile —> Recent Tracks and in Account —> Tracks. It's the same list now.  :P

My Bio field is editable too. Everything works, hooray!  :yay:

Big thanks!

My previous topic is solved too.

Great!

FYI - the bug that originally caused this is now fixed, too, so it shouldn't happen again. I'll check later to see if it has happened to any other accounts.
