All is fine. Medications can be all sorts of wonky even from a slight change. If I miss even a single day on my two meds, it makes me feel both like I am sick and it makes my mood plummet into oblivion. It's not your fault.

You could also tell people to properly label their addresses at their houses. Label both sides of the mail box, don't cover them with decorations, make sure they are visible from the road, use numbers not this "five oh two" bullshit.

@Cinnamon Coffee You have nothing to apologise for. *hugs*

I liked this movie. Great film. Denzel acted his ass off and def. deserved that academy award; of course, afterwards his roles always had a similar personality XD I found picking Matthew Boderick to play Shaw was an interesting pick. I guess he was kinda big in the 80's and shaw was a young man, but still I think casting could've gone better there. Matthew did great playing a kid in high school (ferris bueller/wargames), but this film def. needed someone with better acting chops.

My favorites are Rarity's traditional Wonderbolt flying costume and her Pony Tones sweater.

Brony conventions are everywhere! And I’m sure when the pandemic subsides conventions will continue like they use to. Going with friends is def. more encouraging but I personally, when I went to my first out of state convention, roomed with a bunch of strangers that I found through Facebook, Twitter, etc. and it worked out perfectly.

I love your approach to your struggles, that is definitely a good way to handle it by simply loving others

I do still plan on going to one of these conventions some day going with a friend or friends would be more encouraging. Not that I can say for sure that the fandom will be well large enough for future conventions but if theyll have one I'm definitely going to go to one. Having been a brony for so long yet never been to one is something that annoys me as I have always wanted to.

I think this song is fun. I also like this song. The montage in "The Muppets" (2011) was really cool, too. Yeah! This was another song that The Muppets performed to. I like this song, too.

I think this is such a sweet reason to be involved with the show and fandom. And, building up a little world with your daughter is just such an amazing thing. I don't get why people would give you grief over it not being specifically canon; it seems like such a huge part of the show/shows like it to enjoy it for your own reasons and make of it what you will. If you can expand it, change it, or make it more personal to you somehow, that just seems like a great thing to pursue. And, creating a book out of y'all's tales just seems amazing. ♥ I personally largely joined up mostly due to the show/fan art, but it's become so much more about the creative community surrounding the show rather than the show itself for me. So I think I can understand a little bit of like, being a fan less for the show and more about going beyond it a bit?

@Pr0m4NV14 Odd critique, but ok. Honestly it's just the way I spell the term.
  13. 1 point
@Trixie . Thanks! I put a lot of effort into the writing, almost all of the art is from other people.

Not true mate, i mean sure, it does sound like shit what you're going through, but then I wouldn't know. I never actually had friends to game with when i was younger, so I kind of prefer to game alone..

I agree with both, it seems to me that they just enjoy tormenting you. But you have me and Dynamo now sweetie. *hugs* I'm sorry, there;s not a whole lot more else I can say

If I'm being honest, this reads less like someone trying to have a legitimate discussion or explain something for the benefit of someone else, and more like a statement about how you damn religious people to be less worthy people. Especially given how this back and forth started. I think you're probably better off just letting him go his own way, and you go yours. Whatever words y'all have for each other are not (by the sound of it) gonna hold weight. Plus, there's all kinds of interesting youtube videos out there to watch instead~♥ The comment section sucks, and there's a lot of frustration and bile there somedays.

If this is still open can my OC be in your story? His name is Kyubiki Tenchu he is a male unicorn and my picture is on my profile on my about me page. For personality: happy go lucky, shy at first, but opens up when getting to know somepony, has slight trust issues because of his past, but is slowly working on moving past it, competitive in gaming, but tries to have more fun than winning, can be hyper and random at times. If there's any more info you need, just let me know and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I'm writing fancy just for Rarity, Rarity Is best uncicorn she is generous beautifully polite and deserves none of this smack brony hate she is amazing and perfect the way she is!
  27. 1 point
I'd say that clearly the majority of bronies at least like Rarity, there are other things in this show that get bashed way more after all... Also, posting Raricow... And, to anyone reading this who may still harbor some dislike for Rarity:

Well it's not really because of Gilda that I like the episode, but rather that it's one of the first really good and entertaining episodes of the series to me.
  31. 1 point
Believe me, I've watched all of them over and over again... but you know a series is great when only a few episodes get on your nerves.
  32. 1 point
I didn't mind Mare Do Well much at first, but over time with repeated viewings it just started sort of getting on my nerves more I guess, which similarly happened with It's About Time for me as well.

That's an interesting thought actually. I didn't have many games for my Gameboy Pocket when I was younger and as far as I know there also weren't very many games on it. Sure, one can probably list a ton of games for for many people the GBC was like...just a transition from GB to GBA. Or it could be that people remember games like Resident Evil Gaiden which....no one seemed to like. That and the GBA overshadowed all of the previous GB generations with its (at the time) super graphics and all these amazing games and even a PS1 remake on it. (Rayman Advanced) I'd say it was mostly due to that last point. The GBA blew people's minds and a lot of people probably started with that as opposed to the GB in the late 80s and early 90s.

I know exactly how you feel. I've felt the same way before many times. But, I'm trying to not do that anymore. You should never feel like you have to compare yourself to other people. We are all unique individuals with our own specific strengths and talents. You certainly have them, we all do. You should form your own goals, and strive to reach them, and not worry what other people are doing. You are a wonderful person. You should do your best to put those negative thoughts behind you. Whenever you find yourself thinking or saying something bad about yourself, you should turn it into something positive. I used to think very destructive negative thoughts all the time, because when I tried to think something positive about myself, I often didn't believe it. However, I decided that I would refuse to treat myself like that anymore. If I felt myself thinking a negative thought about myself, I would stop it right then and there before it got any further, and then think positive thoughts about myself, whether or not I believed them. Well, it didn't take long for me to begin to believe the positive things I thought about myself, because they were true, and it turned out not being as difficult as I thought it would be to put my negative falsehoods about myself behind me. I'll still think or feel something negative about myself from time to time, but I have come a long way since I had my inferiority/self-hatred complex and depression last year. Also, you don't need to feel bad about not going to college. The main thing is to live life and be happy, and to help other people to be happy too. It might interest you also that although both Lauren Faust and her husband attended college, they never got a degree, yet she is still extremely successful today, and doing what she loves. She was at college for about 2 1/2 years, but never finished. Experience is what's important, not where you get it.

I didn't like it, and not only because of the end
  37. 1 point
Read your blog post about it yesterday and it seems to me more of a project for programmers to see what they can do rather than an actual game or artwork. I suppose the concept is good enough but it's not something that should honestly make any sort of money.

Thou shalt not judge is exactly right. Homosexuals aren't evil. The bible specifically says to hate the sin, not the sinner and if they ever did come up to a homosexual they would treat them like anyone else, even if they did preach to them a little, because the bible fucking says to do so. I experimented with Christianity myself but couldn't cut it. I'm hardcore theorist/fatalist/agnostic and nothing is gonna change that. Shit has definitely gone down around your life but it's not totally hopeless. At least try to patch things up with your friend, eh? Remember that many Christians, though not all of them, like to pick out what they LIKE out of the bible rather than read it as it is and give the excuse that it can be interpreted differently. That is entirely untrue for the most part; much of the bible is very clear about what it says but says it in very old dialects so people like to believe that it can be taken differently when what it means is pretty clear if you are smart enough to see it.

Certainly does bear a striking resemblance.

Eh, I just think it could have been better. Mostly because of Spike, I explained that I didn't really like his behavior, and since he was the core of the episode I believe that warrants a bit of extra criticism. I liked it, but I didn't love it is all really.

Indeed. Especially with this Connecticut shooting that happened. By all reasons it was just another shooting....OH but people found out he plays video games! THEY MUST BE THE PROBLEM!
  44. 1 point
I am in full agreement, Roop. You touched on everything in your blog post that I also believe. People don't look at video games as any more than children's toys, always have, but gaming has become so much more than that to the point that video games even got their own exhibit in a museum dedicated to the technological wonder of interactive gaming!

Can you believe I came up with this all on the fly? There was a little forethought involved but for the most part I typed this up as I thought of it.
  46. 1 point
I actually haven't played 2-6 so comparing Downpour to other games in the series was pretty difficult since I only know bits of pieces from the other games in the series. (Though I did watch an entire playthrough of SH2, if that counts)

Yeah, you're probably right about that, just a thought.

I don't dislike it! I found that image adorable enough to put it here. I just thought the episode was too blatant with it is all.
