  1. This is gorgeous! I absolutely love the way you textured the swirling stars and you did a fantastic job on her mane. I love how it blends in with the night and the stars. It almost looks like a cloud there. This also looks like it was a lot of fun to paint. Just the swirls and the colors look fun to do.
  2. This is super cute! I love seeing some stylized ponies instead of straight up show style. You're coloring of the tree is absolutely fantastic! You did a really good job putting in the textures. And scootaloo looks just so happy xD
  3. I want a real pony. And technically, at my age group, I could go about and find a way to get a pony. But I want a pony like my 10 year old self wanted a pony, if that makes sense. You know, where all you think about it brushing his mane and tail and riding him off in the sunset and not actually thinking about the finances and work behind owning one.
  4. Ugh, I'm turning into a lurker. Boo.

That's it :D Start small and build. Eventually you'll find yourself not a lurker anymore and once more active.

HAHAHA I know right xD It's cool. I got this. Gonna go make myself busy right now while I've got some time.

  5. I could see them turning the next generation into a total cash in. I definitely foresee horribly CG graphics and bad plot lines with bad voice acting. Honestly, I wouldn't really care about that as long as they continue with Friendship is Magic. Hasbro, in the end, is a toy company and they will do what they have to to sell. Like the previous poster said, look what they did to Transformers. They've got THREE different transformers going right now! I definitely could see them doing that with MLP. Honestly, in the end, as long as they keep FiM going I don't really care what they do with the rest. They're toy line for it is crap anyway. I would much rather fork out the extra money to get some artwork from the fans.
  6. You animated the icon! That's so awesome! Makes me happy to see that you can use it like that. And I love the eye blinking. It really brings him to life!
  7. Here's a commission I did for #Colt! He's been great to work with and I'm super happy with the outcome. I haven't done too many dragons in my day, so it was a nice change of pace for me.
  8. I thought I would start a thread that I could post my current projects in. I thought it would be nice not only for my self but in case anybody else was curious on the stuff I work on! COMIC First off, there is my comic that I'm currently working on. I have about the first five pages done... and I plan on posting the first three on 01.01.2013. Then I'll post a new page every two weeks! Here's my promo poster for it. HATS AND OTHER SEWING Currently I'm working on some orders. I've got a few orders for a Rainbow Dash hat as well as an order for a custom hat. Also, I've got some pictures of my completed hats that are just sitting on my desk right now. I love wearing around my Spitfire hat! CUSTOM TOYS And the last project that I've been working with on and off is a custom of Rainbow Dash in her crystal pony jousting armor. I wanted to change her pose a bit to see how it would turn out. This is my first custom so I have no idea how it'll turn out in the end. But, it is fun to mess around with. Thanks for looking! I plan on updating these as I work on them and get them finished.
  9. My new years resolution is to get my business license and really dive head first into my sewing. I'm going to start doing a lot more advertising and hopefully get my small business going. Also, I WILL release a new page for my comic every two weeks! Not only that, but I want to actually keep working on it through out the whole year and not just start and never finish. I want it to be a consistent, ongoing project.
  10. Wow, never would have expected to see your stuff up on these forums! You're a huge inspiration with your comics! I absolutely love them and glad to see you're making some more. Can't wait to see it finished.
  11. Thanks! I don't know if my stuff is very "note-worthy" but it makes me happy to know that you'll read it I'm hoping that the artwork will be just eye catching enough to keep everybody reading, lol.
  12. Oh goodness no, I am not a shipper. I am pretty much anti-shipping anybody and anything, lol. But, that's just me. Yeah, I really enjoyed the show. I was thoroughly impressed with the detail they put in the wardrobes. Honestly it was the best that I've ever seen in any sort of fantasy/medieval movie and/or show. AU = Alternate Universe. I will admit I'm not really into reading fanfiction, so I am a horrible judge on good or bad fanfiction. I read a bit of what you have from the link and you have a very good writing style! Other than that I don't feel well versed enough in the fanfiction world to make a real sound opinion. But the concept is really good. I would love to see illustrations from parts of the story!
  13. You'll call me one of the wannabe fans because I definitely just read the first book, lol. I need to sit down and read the others, but I'm just so terrible when it comes to reading... I don't know why. I try really really hard to just sit down and read and finish reading, but I think I have a form of adult ADD and I just can't sit and read for too long. And it doesn't even matter how much I get into the book! Or maybe I need glasses... I dunno. Yeah, I definitely enjoy the norther feel for the Apples. Do you have any plans to do anything with all these characters? Are you writing stories for them or a comic? It would be really neat to read an AU with them. More importantly, I would love to see a graphic novel with them. The stiff horse hair crest always shouts Roman to me, so if you're not trying to go Roman, good luck.
  14. I worked for an insurance company for 5+ years before getting the opportunity to stay home and raise my kids at home. I love being a housewife and my work is now my kids and my home. Because I'm at home and have quite a bit of free time I'm working on making my own small online business. I'm sewing and drawing and I'm hoping that it will be successful enough that once the kids start going to school I'll be able to be a free lance artist full time. I'm actually just really lucky to have a husband that supports me staying home with the kids. It's not always flowers and roses, but it sure beats that insurance job I had. Granted, the money was good, but I missed watching my son grow up and they were definitely overworking and underpaying me.
  15. Your people are so cute! I love how much character they have. At first I wasn't sure how you were going to blend the people in with the ponies, but I love what you're doing with it. I also like how it goes from black and white to color. Can't wait to see more!
