Reasonable episode. Fun songs, awkward pacing due to being forced into a single episode, and Dem Wings. jimmies have not been rustled.

I was pretty disappointed. Although I never did have my hopes too high up. Like you said, the pacing was really awkward. I think that pretty much ruined it for me.
Alicorn Twilight would have been tolerable or great if the episode led up to that point properly and did not just shove an alicorn on screen after Twilight completes what seems for her to have been a very average task.

On the other hand, how many seasons would it take for the same old formula to grow stale? While it is true that the show will more or less have to take on a new direction at this point, I think it's a bit premature to say if that new direction will be good or bad.- 305 replies

Just how old are we talking here? Looking over some traffic statistics only a small minority of our visitors use Internet Explorer, with a minority of that minority using IE8 or lower. Given how few people use it, I don't know that it's necessarily worth the time and effort to try and work around all of the... quirks that are associated with older versions of IE. Assuming it is even possible to do so - we could very well be limited in our ability to do so due to the forum software that we make use of. My honest suggestion would be to either update to the latest version of Internet Explorer or to make use of an alternative browser - I think you'll find that websites in general (not just this one) will work much better - not to mention the fact that whatever browser you end up with will no doubt be much more secure than an old version of Internet Explorer.

The My Little Pony fandom isn't perfect. It never was - it's no better, and no worse, than just about any other online fandom no matter how many fancy slogans or labels we may give to ourselves. As stated above, I think you're focusing too much on a particular aspect of the community, and allowing that particular aspect to color the way you view the community as a whole... in addition to that, I think you're probably looking at the past with rose tinted glasses, because we've always had the sort of folks that you're complaining about - it isn't a new phenomenon at all. If you're still fond of the show, you're still a fan. There's no need to take it any further by debating whether or not a silly made-up label applies to you. -
I'm not really sure if this is an easy fix or not, but I'll make sure that it gets looked into - though it may take a little bit due to existing workloads and such.

The pony fandom isn't really any different than any other fandom in just about any regard. We have nice folks, and mean folks. Open minded folks and close minded folks. Liberals and conservatives. Religious people and atheists. Chaotic good and chaotic evil. We have some who love and tolerate, and some who hate and obliterate. No fandom is all good, or all bad. -
People obsess over the term 'brony' too much. Why does it matter? Why do we need a special label for ourselves with alleged requirements and limitations set upon it in order to qualify for it? Do you still like the show? If so, you're a fan. That's fine. If not, you're not a fan. That's also fine. Honestly, I find myself disliking 'brony' as much as I do 'love and tolerate'

That fact on its own does a lot to raise it above most games in the genre, in my opinion. Nothing irks me more than games where the only thing that matters are the numbers associated with the items equipped on your character... I mean, I've got nothing against the folks that like games that are like that, but I've never been able to stomach them. I need freedom of movement, and freedom of combat. :3 I'd be inclined to give Tera a shot if not for the fact that I don't have nearly enough gaming time these days to justify jumping into something like it.
