Shade looks at Shining Star and back to Rainbow Dash " Well...thats a new one." Shade said as she nibled on her muffin praying to Celestia that Ditzy doesn't show up "So...all this talk about ol' Chrysalis has mewondering. If she talks with Shing maybe s the little filly can stop this war!" Shade says as she fights off another wave of tiredness "Or it could lead in other directions either way...I can't go back to my old life as a drifter, the gaurds won't even give me a second glance. " Shade states as she nearly succombs to exhaustion. "weres a bucking quad shot when you need one." Shade exclaims as her head hits the table.

Shade walks into sugercube corner looking very tired and extremely haunted " I need to find some time to clear my mind again" she says as she puts in an order for a muffinand spotting Rainbow Dash " Oh hey Rainbow..." Shade trails off as she spots Rainbows belly "What the buck happened to you Rainbow? Eat half the darn shop?" she says as she slides into a chair adjascent to Rainbow "Rainbow what do or would you do if you keep getting nightmares from your past, when you were forced to do awful things to innocent ponies just to scratch out a living?" she asked Rainbow as she fought off a wave of sleep that rolled over her.

Suddenly a rusted pipe comes from the shadow and knocks the second stallion out cold "Ok this is getting really old you know" shade says with a huff as she propped bothe stallions against a chair and tied them down with rope she found on a post. "okay when these two thugs wake up we need to get as much information out of them as possible." Shade states as she pats them down for anything that could be used to free themselves. "Ace make sure that trooper is alright eh? he may be of some value to us." Shade says as she finishes her search.

Shade slowlycreps towards the trapdoor and stops "yes we should see...who here knows how to sneak about better than a merc?" Shade asked everypony while quietly as possible open the door "we need to see who they have captive as well, it could very well be a friendly." Shade added as she finally got the door open and turned out the lights as not to arouse any alert from the two stallions.

"Ah...i suppose your the leader?" Shade asked with a worried glance at Rainbow Dash "Hmmm I can't do anything about mental traumatization but she will be fine with time though not herself." Shade said as she thought of may be troubling Rainbow Dash. "And the filly? Whats her story? Oh i'm so sorry for nosing around your busness like this forget i asked." Shade said quickly as she thought of other things.

Shade walks back into the main room. "You know what? I never got to know your names." Shade said as she looked over the group with a curious glint in her eye. "also i'm sorry if i'm acting so mysterious, surviving explosions nearly point blank and feeling the shockwave hit you kind of makes you....warry of others but you seem like a good bunch." Shade said while walking to a chair and sitting down.

Shade takes time to look around the cottage and found a trap door. "Hey guys I think I found a basement of sorts!" Shade called into the other room while fiddling with the door. "Anypony have any idea what might be down there?" Shade asked as she peered into the gloomy darkness of the steps. "Man I wish i had the ability to see in the dark!" said Shade to no one in particuler.

Shade looks over Cloudsdale as well "You know what? i doubt anywhere will be unscaved after this war...." says shade. as she walks fromthe window to a corner. "You know what? it has to be fate or something to have brought us together guys...Sorry if i get all proficy like here but i'v been raised to believe in fateand all that good stuff but honestly? I just wish i still had my weapons from the Whinnysota attack.....I hope other ponys managed to get out of that massacre." Shade said as she went over what little supplies she had left.

Shade stares horrified at the soldiers and rushes over to help them "were are you ponys hurt" asked Shade visibly focused and ready to help. "doese anypony here have any disinfecting agents or needle and thread?" Shade asked nopony in particular while slowly scanning the wounded troops bodies for damage and using her magic to slow the bleeding on several lasterations and closing severaly deep cuts. "Well its a miracle you three are still alive and even capable of walking." says Shade with a concerned looks on her face.

"Oh...sorry if it seems like I barged in I was just running for my life when the attacks began, and to you....you can just call me Shade." said the mare finally leveling her breathing. "Now...who are you i might ask? and the filly your holding?" asked Shade while looking calmly at the both of you.

A cloaked figure comes rushing into the chamber trying to catch her breath and caughing, breathing heavily. "how many times is it that i survived an explosion like that?" says the Mare, she looks up and notices the rest of the ponys. "Oh...hello there i'm sorry I didn't notice you at first. Are any of you hurt?" asked the cloaked mare.
