I believe that bitch had been told nicely about her stupid hunts before all the death threats thing, and yet she still did it. You can't really expect people not to rage, because people have actually fought to keep those animals from poachers, and she killed those animals just because it's fun.

People will stop when the cunt stops, sure, but at least if you've got the guts to murder a rare species, have the guts to receive death threats.

Sure, feeling cared about by a lot of people feels nice, but it's not entirely necessary. I think it's better to have a small group of close friends, than a whole bunch of friends that you're not even close to at all.

No it's not, indeed. I didn't say anything about necessity. I'm talking about people going like, "Popularity doesn't matter! I don't want this!" and, "I'm not popular, and I feel ignored in this community."

It's just funny to watch.

One side is crying that popular members are elitists and the community is unfair, while they're actually just jealous and want to get popular too. The other side is acting as if they don't like popularity, while actually they just want to make the, "He's so modest and humble," image.

Popularity does matter. Don't lie to yourself. You like feeling cared by a lot of people. The problem is that how people here are overreacting over empty popularity. People here aren't famous because they're good at something. Not art, not intelligence, not skills. Yet, people are worshiping them.

Both are fishing for attention. This is just so funny.

Homura-san, the whole, "Popularity contest sucks," is a popular topic at the moment. That's why people are agreeing with it and keep making posts about it.

Yes, being popular is fun. I admit I enjoyed the days when my writing thread was bustling with activity, but what made me hate this place is that people were worshiping people with empty statuses.

There was someone who's popular because of his artwork. There was someone who's popular because she knew so many things about music. There was someone who's popular because he was an amazing role player. Then out of sudden, people started worshiping mods, staffs, nice members, cute couples, etc. No matter how invalid their arguments were, they still won the debate. Even though a douchebag was reported with a dozen of legit proofs, the reporter who got irritated because of the douchebag (which is natural) was the one who got banned instead, and people were agreeing with it because the staffs were more popular.

You may see nothing wrong with it sure, but you just can't reason with my mother. She's right about everything, I've tried talking to her before really I have. That I'm not doing anything wrong at all but she just doesn't understand.

I believe she has a reason, and she just doesn't want you to know. There's always a reason, whatever that is. Talking is the only way to pull it out. Other than that,

I asked you if you've talked to her about it. I just don't see any reason why she would forbid you from using a computer. I have a feeling that it's because you're using it too much. I mean, I see nothing wrong with having a special friend online.

Fighting doesn't have to be a conflict. When I said, "Hit them hard," I meant your own fears. Just talk to her. Ask why. Get an agreement. Doing this isn't easy, I know. It never was, even for me, but it's the best way to solve parent-children problem. Be brave, stand, talk, bargain and get a win-win solution. I won't tell you not to give up. I just want you to remember that your happiness is yours. Not your parents'. Not even Dsanders'.

You can in a few years though. Like I said, once you are 18 and you have what it takes to make it out there in the real world, then you have the legal right to leave the house.

 

I'm actually working on that right now. I'm not sure how it will interfere with my college education, nor am I certain as to how long it will take. For me to establish a bank account, find a decent paying job, learn how to drive and get a car, establish a budget, etc... the list goes on.

Nope, you're not the only one. I don't care much about Season 4, honestly, and I never liked the idea of over-analyzing the show like most people do. Well those change from one artist to another, From 5 bucks to 100 depending the artist and complexity of the piece, there are some artist on DA that are very good and dont charge much =D

How much are those commissions usually?

Yes, as you know I cant draw a damn line right so I commission all the art work for my OC's, normally I ask for concept art like sketches and line art (because i love that) and keep a record of the development of each character. I did the cutie mark though XP Thanks for reading

What important is how the 'object' is treated.

Let me counter-argument those statements. I have nothing against any of them. In fact, I do enjoy some anime, but I just want to:

1. I have no argument against this.

2. The writers of anime are lame. Similar story lines, Mary Sue characters, redundant, etc. They take two hundreds pages to tell a story that could have been told in thirty. For the sake of continuity they add new villains when the story almost reaches a satisfying conclusion. Train, fight, train, fight, train, fight. The Chosen One, or True Power storyline? I'm a grown man now. Sorry.

3. Indeed. Some of them are done right. Watamote was funny, but I found that sometimes they put dirty jokes and hope that the watchers think that's funny. Turned awkward, of course. In all honesty, vulgarity is a serious thing in Asia. We used to be a cultured people. I have no idea what happened to those honourable and noble Japanese.

4. You take Shingeki no Kyojin as an example, which is indeed a good series and well-written. The grimdark atmosphere is thick and reasonable, even though there are some lame attributes like the scientist missing father thingy. Memorable characters? Unless they overreact at everything, I guess they won't be. The first time I watched anime after six months, I winced whenever I heard the characters talked and shouted at his father's face for trivial reasons. Characters are supposed to be cared by the readers. It's not a big thing.

Many American shows are lame indeed, but I won't praise anime for no reason.

I dont know that NaNoWriMo is but ill dive and do some research it could be fun.

Gary Oak is being treated like a celebrity, yes, but everyone is treating the mod in question like the plague and demon spawn. That doesn't make them a celebrity. Just sayin'.  

Celebrities can have bad or good reputation. Take Miley Cyrus as an example. She's still a celebrity, even though she's not an artist. dem difrens

I don't like either the mod team or that Gary Oak supporters. Artemis once gave me warning points for posting a picture which had a word 'nigga' written on it, and I don't enjoy how Gary Oak spit his swear words all over the floor as if his grandmother was the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

I would say Gary deserved it and Artemis was just doing his job.
