  5. It seems like most people who are 'debating' about 'religions' here see Gods as superior supernatural beings who live in the outer space, tinkering the universe as they like. Why don't you people just sit down and revise your understanding of Gods, religions, and all... these instead? What do you think a God is? Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God. Muslims' God is Allah. Buddhists' God is, well, not exactly God, but guide, is Buddha Himself. I think that's what God is. A guide. More like a source of guide. Christians follow Jesus's teachings, a good man who lived long ago and tried to save His people from moral catastrophe. Muslims follow Allah's teachings, which were taught to many people by Prophet Muhammad. Buddhists follow Buddha's teachings. Then what exactly a God is? Why are there so many religions formed in so many places? Because it's basically based on one same thing that exists in every man's heart. Humanity. I guess you will yell at me about The Seventh Sky, The Eternal Fire, God's Wills, and other 'fantasy' you read in religion books, and how you, the atheists think that religion is a full of non-sense and how the believers think that they're just, "Things you don't understand." Now shut up for a while. Religion books are written with art and contain figurative languages such as metaphor, simile, etc. My writing sense tingled when I had to separate that paragraph just so you people won't miss it. All you read about demons, angles, heaven, or hell are just metaphors. All the 'rewards' God gives you are just metaphors, but they do exist. It's that beautiful feeling you get after you give a homeless kid an ice cream. It's that horrible feeling when you take a revenge and realize what horrible things you've done. The guilt feels like you're being tortured with fire. The happiness feels like you're getting anything you ever wished for. The face of people who are doing good deeds, happy, free of guilt looks like shining brightly. The face of evil people looks ugly from their frown and dark aura. People back then adored art, and since they valued religions very much, they express their respect by using art to write religion books. Now before you throw me some quotes from the Bible, think about this. It was written by many authors. Jesus might be a man of a golden heart, but how about the other authors? You need to revise your understanding of God. Instead of using the idea you got as a child from your father when he pointed at the sky and said, "The God is up there, son, and He's watching you," why don't you use your grown adult mind and rethink about it? You're philosophy-ing intensely based on an idea you got as a child. You're making a tower of gold on a foundation of mud. Does God exist? Yes. Are religions correct? Yes. Then what causes all of this nonsense in the Internet? People who are too dumb for religions.

Is the first season finished already? Man, that's brief. I just watch the videos. I don't follow the news. XD Well, what I mean with writing isn't only about plot. Other things like conversations, and personalities as well. I do hope they lengthen the episodes, though. Seven minutes per week isn't so satisfying for me. I know it's a lot of work, but well, we can always hope. :v

Well, enough said. You can't expect a Pixar-quality product from a team of freelance animators who release their stuff in weekly basis. Looking at that again, they're doing very good. Personally I think it's the writing that this series lacks. The characters are somewhat over-powered, not so unique, etc, but I think it works perfectly as a children show. Well, with all those blood and flying body parts, I guess it's for teen, but yeah, works pretty well. The voice acting is on character, and well, on. The character designs are good, I must say, even though I'm not really a fan of those anime-looks with super-light over-sized weapons. Yes. I don't like Final Fantasy. About the animation, you can't really blame them for the quality. I don't think those who complain know how difficult it is to animate in 3D, and how much work is needed to make a series. After all, graphic isn't the main factor that creates immersion. I'm not into hardcore fantasy, but I will admit that I do enjoy this thing.

      Descant

Things have been going alright, I suppose. I've been pretty busy of late. Not as much time to RP as in times passed. How about you? How've you been keeping?

    2. Sky Warden

      Sky Warden

Busy as well. I'm an apprentice web developer now, and still studying to be a gamedev. I've got many stuff on my plate, and since I don't know most of the people lurking here now, I rarely post. Maybe that's why I haven't seen you all this time. XD

  13. Long time to words. How's everything? That project? Oh, by the way, nice OC. All of them! D:

  14. Tell me if I'm wrong. Aren't you that Crystal Dancer I met in my writing thread, asking about role playing? D:

  15. Respect isn't a commodity. You don't barter it. You make it by doing respectable deeds.

    1. Friendship_Cannon

      Friendship_Cannon

replace "make" with "earn" and I agree

    2. Sky Warden

      Sky Warden

Well, considering that respect is infinite, I wrote make instead of earn, but well, both works.

It's just, people think just because they give you their respect, or give you something else, they must earn respect from you, even though it's a disappointment they give.

  16. That's uh... sweet (can't find the right word to describe it). XD Well, tell them! Make a group PM, telling that they must tell you and stuff. Statistic is useful. You can get a bragging right like, "This thread is managing 341341 students and 198334 tutors at the moment." You're telling me... you study for school at home? Nah. I don't really care. I'm spend my free time to study game development stuff instead. I also got a friend who's interested in the same field, so I can tutor him once in a while as well.
  17. Like what you always say, deal with it.
  18. It's up to you. Well, I think it's important for tutors to contact you if they get a client, because it will let you know if this thread is functioning or not. Where do you work, if I may ask?
  19. Well, what are you going to do about it now? Are you going to add me to the list? I don't know if people are still looking for tutors here. Do those tutors usually tell you if they've got some students?
  20. She has. She's just too... Pinkeh to post another.
  21. I see that I'm not in the tutor list. Well, nevermind. Dsanders hasn't been contacting me for more than a week or two. That kinda kills my interest on tutoring people. I don't know about the others. At least I still have a friend who asked me to teach him programming and game development for some artworks in return.

That place is so disappointing. No one got my request right.

    3. Passion

      Passion

Really? People spared their free time for you, you've probably earned free art, I may assume. Nobody was even obliged to do anything in the first place ._. How can you be disappointed with something you've been given willingly for free? If you want precise art, go for commissions and pay for them. ._.

    4. Sky Warden

      Sky Warden

Oh, I've done that a lot too. Do works for people without getting paid. A lot of time spent for those products, but I always do my work professionally, trying the best I can give, instead of half-ass-ing it. If the artists who do my requests don't appreciate the requests, why should I?
