  1. Yes I know. Actually the model doesn't really matter to me. As long as it's single-edged and broad, I will like it, so I would say only Dao. I'm trying to get used to any kind of weapons. Hmm... any other than the wushu-style Dao? I don't feel like I really like it, though I'm not sure why. So their prices is around $50? Or it's just the cheapest? I'm terrible at measuring prices.
  2. Just an advice, keep asking "what if" as you think about the plot. First, determine the main plot. You can do it by asking "what if" to yourself. What if Celestia disappear, etc. Then ask "what if" again. What if there's a pony who's accidentally forced to go to an adventure to find Celestia? Ask again. What if the pony meets an old friend during his adventure? Keep asking. What if he falls in love with this old friend? Ask again and again. What if this old friend betrays his love? What if this betrayal leaves the pony heart-broken and he forgets his quest? What if the mare comes back to him? What if the stallion doesn't trust her anymore? What if the mare sacrifices herself to save the depressed stallion? That's, a simple advice from me.

  5. I'm wondering... if this is not related to the topic, please forgive me. Since this is a bladed weapons thread, I think I can post it here. Do you guys know the price of a regular Chinese Dao? That broad saber that is used with one hand. It's not for decoration, so it won't be so expensive. I'm not looking for katana. It doesn't fit my style. They're not so good for chopping. Slashing and cutting maybe, but I don't like it. I don't say katana is bad, though I don't really understand why people like katana so much. Well, it's just the matter of style. So... any idea?

  8. It's possible. Basically, it's similar to other mind thingy. It's all about vibration and signal. The problem isn't about how to make your thought available for other people. The problem is the receiver. Some people aren't sensitive enough to 'catch' those vibrations (signal or whatever you call it) to gain the 'information'. For example, when you were playing with your childhood friend, you could share the idea of those castle and dragon while playing. "Look! A dragon! Let's slay it!". You and your friends could 'see' the dragon right? I bet you could. This is because children are more sensitive about human mind than most adults. Children can feel others feeling better than most adults. They're more sensitive, so they can catch informations from other's mind by their 'vibration'. In more intense practice, this martial art. We train to contact spirits. The training is held in a local graveyard during the night. Creepy? Yes. Some disciples can't 'feel' the existence of the spirits, while some other can. That means they're not sensitive enough, and they're not focused enough. The 'image' of the spirit caught by these focused disciples is the same. If one meets a spirit of an old lady, other who meet her will say the same about the lady's experience. The point is to radiate the signal of your thing (tulpa, information, message, etc) and the receiver tries to catch it. If the receiver isn't sensitive enough, the receiver may miss it. That doesn't mean it's all the receiver's fault. The sender need to radiate it correctly and as clear (strong) as possible. Let's say it like this : the sender 'speaks' and the receiver 'listens'. If the receiver is deaf, the information spoken by the sender can't be caught by the receiver. If the sender speaks too quiet, the receiver can't hear it. If the sender speaks with foreign language or unclear accent, the receiver may not understand the spoken information. It's all about communication. Remember than brain vibrates and you can feel the signal. If you focus on thinking about something, the vibration about that thing will be stronger. Therefore, it's easier to read. Other examples are : mind reading, "I know that feel" thingy, I feel like my son is in trouble, I think she's sick, I feel like he has a problem, "LOOK! A dragon!", I feel like someone is sneaking behind me. Well, you can believe me or not. For "spiritual masters" like you guys, an idea from a 'newbie' like me may be so 'meh', so I will just leave it here for consideration.
  9. One bad thing about developing your own martial art style : You can't teach it to other people.

  10. Hmm. I'm not sure if this is what people mean with trailer music, but I guess it is. Not so awesome indeed, but that's the only one I can remember at the moment. I love this one actually. I'm a Asian traditional music lover. Duh. Why is my brain so bad at remembering stuff? I always look for musics from movie I watch, but can't remember them. I can't find the Youtube link for the rest. Another one is Kenji Kawai's "Everything Is" which is a soundtrack from Ip Man movie. There's also another music from True Legen by Sigheru Umebayashi, but I can't find it in Youtube. I guess I'm just lazy.

By the way, I've read a funny review about anime. Here's it :

"One thing which always exists in every anime, girls that orgasm every 10 seconds for no fucking reason whatsoever."

I'm not a hater, but this is hilarious. XD

  15. I wonder if any of you use 'Servitor' as well. For anything. Maybe practice an instrument, or whatever. Oh, is an imaginary weight or force is called 'Servitor' too? @. I don't understand why some people here are sensitive when others talk about tulpa.
  16. Not being arrogant doesn't mean that I'm weak. See the proof now?

You've finished taking a bath? Your hygiene is questionable.

Well, someone just became arrogant, and I showed him some secrets.

  17. Actually that happens pretty often here. People playing with tulpa, the dead, ancient spirits, or whatever fancy. Believe me or not, this culture where I live in is full of... insane people who adore (filthy) 'magic' very much, even in this modern era. I've seen many insane things happened because people played with... whatever it is called. Just say... isn't it fun if an object suddenly fall on your head from a flat and clear roof? Maybe an iron wire suddenly appear in your stomach, and you're sure that you didn't eat it the night before? Oh, also don't you think that it's cute to see how your money disappear exactly three seconds after you put it in your wallet? One might prefer to forget the past, and not to talk about it anymore. No wonder if there's not many people who want to share this adorable experience. You know... I bet you will do the same if you've experienced your father going so insane with this 'fancy' stuff and tried to kill your mother without any clear reason. By the way, this is why this martial art is created. Well, enough for this rambling. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Worth nothing after all. It's very good that this community has lovely relationships right? Hmm... is this thread only for tulpa? I mean, if I can discuss about this 'Servitor' thingy here, it will be fun. That's the only fancy thing I still want to interact with.
  18. That's why I asked you guys to be careful. Then that means I don't play with tulpa. I don't think I will though. Be careful of your own emotions. Do bad things to people, and they will be bad. Share love with people, they will share more love.
  19. Oh? I didn't know that the meaning changed. Thanks for clearing this up. I thought tulpa is a realization of mind, idea, or thought. I didn't know that it need to have emotions. I really need to check the Internet more often. The last time I saw it, it was still the same.
  20. Going to study. I will be back in few hours. >:3

  21. Eeyup. Basically formed because human are similar. Hmm... most of them are martial artists who train in the Palace 'dojo' or other places. I follow my family martial art, but sometimes I train with people in the Palace 'dojo'. We have similar techniques, so I can train with them. The people who I really know is about... 30 + 32 + 18 + ... about 85. There are more actually, but what I really know are just that around 85. We often trained together in the past. For total, I don't know.
  22. I better pay more attention to my formal education. I think I will start studying for the final test tomorrow. XD

  23. Yes. That spiritual way has expanded to many regions in Asia. Actually, Tibet isn't the only culture which created this kind of techniques. Many other cultures in Asia have the same. They just call it with different names, and somehow the Tibetan one is more famous. By the way, a tulpa doesn't need to has emotions. An imaginary object is also called a tulpa. Like the imaginary Dao I use while practicing and that emotionless man I practice with. About the number, I don't know. It's rather hard to count how many people who have learned this martial art since the time it's created. Tulpa is a form of training to build mind discipline and better understanding of human mind. That's how I treat it. I'm not much a tulpa-er.
  24. Eh? I haven't explained it? I thought I have. The reason is simple. Many of us don't add emotions to tulpa because we... well, don't really like creating one and like I said, human emotions can be very fragile. We don't get bored easily. In fact, we love being alone, and without 'talking' to ourself. The key of our way is to be aware of everything, having mind discipline, and making true happiness. We take the world as it is. We're not obsessed in creating... something else (including imaginary friend). We're happy from what have existed. This world is already more than enough for us to enjoy. Because I'm practicing martial art, I create one. Just to help practicing. It's recommended to create one to practice with indeed. I'm Asian, so our views in spiritual thingy maybe different. Simply spiritualist is a group of people who follow the spiritual way. That's not important by the way. I don't say tulpa or emotions are bad. What I'm trying to say is what I said in my first post.
