      I only used the youtube guide to learn the form, once you learn the form you can bend it to whatever you like.. It's just to get you started. Try it, then try drawing without it. You have to begin somewhere and using a guide is one way.. Only way is practice, you learn somewhere the basics and then you practice it. So practice would be the only way and why not begin with a simple guide. Just saying.
